The IB taught me how to read through and write dense texts, both archaic and modern, which has been generated an immense advantage over many of my uni peers. But this was a HS program, not college.

@realbrandonpyle @JeremyTate41 Yeah, the international baccalaureate program which can be taken at some high schools and is a little more popular overseas is not too far off from this actually.

It's a great program to prepare students fo university, but in and of its self there is little value as a college.

This is a watered down philosophy major, as it is missing a lot of key thinkers and ideas. It's nothing more than a bragging tool with little merit.

@prsn4ct I went to a charter school and out of the 100 or so students, I think 3 of us ended up trans, and only one of us was out for most of hs, and another only came out senior year. Me being the late bloomer.
