@SouthwestAir Picked an exit row at ticket purchase and got Boarding group 5!! “Upgraded” to middle seat open in row 6 and took that because I didn’t want to wait for 100 people to board ahead of me and now and group 2. Used to be on of the 15 on Come on Southwest do better!

Now I get boarding group 5 and I would be roughly 100th on the plane. No guarantees that I can put a carry one anywhere near my seat. Even group 2 there could be 50-60 people ahead of me and I’ve seen people having to put their carryon 4-5 rows behind them.

For those that don’t understand the frustration, it’s about time. With A list came the benefit of being among the first on the plane. I was usually A 16 to 25. I could always be in the front part of the plane and always able to put my bags directly above where I was sitting.
