A letter from those who have dedicated their careers to protecting children.
We speak for those whose lives have ended too soon from mass shootings. We speak for those whose lives are impacted every day by gun violence.
The time for change is NOW. https://t.co/a0Kr9RqBkG
The St. Louis County mask mandate is now in effect. This order applies to all public places, including stores, workplaces, and schools. Use layers of protection, such as getting vaccinated and boosted, wearing a well-fitting mask and practicing social distancing.
Huge thank you to Chairwoman Days and Council Members Webb, Clancy, and Dunaway for voting in favor of the @STLCounty mask mandate. Frontline workers returned to work today feeling safer and a little more hopeful for the weeks to come. @ritadays1@lisadclancy@DunawayKelli
Last year, the St. Louis County Council repeatedly turned down the opportunity to instate a mask mandate. As we currently face the highest numbers of cases we have seen over the entire pandemic, we implore the Council to consider a mask mandate NOW.
Medical experts stand in favor of mask mandates. We hope that the council hears the voices of our local medical community and considers the science tonight in their deliberations.
@lisadclancy@lisadclancy Thank you. We are grateful for your ongoing efforts and advocacy to help keep St. Louis county residents safe and to implement safe, concrete steps to change the trajectory of this outbreak so that our frontline providers can do our jobs for those most in need.
