An Open Letter to @sra_solicitors:

To Whom it May Concern,

I am reaching out to inform you of the behavior of one Aqeeb Khan, a trainee solicitor with Central Chambers Law Ltd. who is already on probation through your office due to a prior stalking conviction.

I am in possession of screenshots in which Mr. Khan appears to be attempting to unlawfully intimidate a victim of the grooming gangs into changing her story because it implicates him and his family. I am also in possession of a screenshot of a post in which Mr. Khan appears to admit to having the victim’s address, and suggests that he and another man “pay her a visit.”

Mr. Khan seems certain that your office will ignore his criminal behavior and allow him to continue practicing law. I am reaching out because I hope that you will prove him wrong.

The grooming gangs victims deserve our support and respect, not intimidation and threats of violence. Your office is in a position to act on this matter. I sincerely hope that you will prove yourselves worthy of the immense trust and responsibility that have been placed in you.

You succeeded in your mission.

Westcroft Cricket Club has, with great regret, been forced to withdraw from the league because it is no longer possible for other teams to play in this constant environment of vandalism.

You did not just damage a pitch; you stripped away the favorite sport, the joy, the friendships, and the healthy activities of over 80 children, youths, and adult players.

Congratulations on impacting an entire cricketing community.

Congratulations on undermining the hard work of volunteers who dedicate their time, money, and energy to promote the sport.

Congratulations on disappointing the parents who wanted to see their children engaged in positive activities.

Cricket is not just a game; it is a source of discipline, friendship, respect, and community cohesion.

It is tragic that someone’s negative mindset and destructive actions have washed away the happiness of so many people.

Hopefully, you are satisfied today knowing that a single action of yours has affected dozens of matches, hundreds of hours of hard work, and the happiness of countless individuals. But remember, grounds can be rebuilt, pitches can be prepared again, and the cricket community can bounce back stronger than ever.

Our full support and respect goes out to Westcroft Cricket Club, its players, volunteers, and supporters.

We hope this difficult time passes quickly and that the voices of children and youth will once again echo through the cricket ground.

NHS WHISTLEBLOWER DR CHRIS DAY LOST HIS FINAL APPEAL AND THE BILL IS STILL RUNNING

I have covered Dr Day @drcmday case before. Here is where it stands now.

In March 2026 the Employment Appeal Tribunal delivered its final ruling on the case Dr Chris Day has been fighting since 2015. The verdict. Dismissed. The Trust walks away clean. Even the part where a director deleted 90000 emails mid hearing only earned the word troubling from the judge.

Troubling. As if someone spilled coffee on the evidence rather than destroyed it.

Quick recap in case you missed the first ten years. Dr Day raised concerns in 2013 about unsafe staffing on an intensive care unit at a hospital under Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust (@LG_NHS). Two patients had already died. He flagged it in writing.

The system's response was to spend the next decade and well over a million pounds in public money trying to make the problem disappear by making him disappear.

First the @NHS argued that junior doctors below consultant grade did not qualify for whistleblowing protection at all. That argument held for three years until the Court of Appeal threw it out.

Fifty four thousand doctors and hundreds of thousands of agency workers got their legal protection back because one A&E doctor refused to let it go.

Then came the 2022 hearing where a trust director got up at 5am and deleted 90000 emails relevant to the case. The chief executive was found to have misled the tribunal about a board meeting. The tribunal's verdict on all of that. Troubling.

So where is Chris now. He was never sacked. Nobody fired him. What happened is messier than that. He says the trust's actions blocked his path to consultant and ended his career progression outright. So for over a decade he has been stuck doing locum A&E shifts, agency work with no security and no permanent post, while running an eleven year legal case on the side.

The wasted costs claim against NHS law firm Hill Dickinson (@HillDickinson), over the contracts they failed to disclose that would have ended this whole saga years earlier, is still sitting with the tribunal. Judgment reserved since 2024. Nobody seems in a rush to answer for it.

The British Medical Association (@TheBMA) is still backing him. The CrowdJustice (@CrowdJustice) page is still open because eleven years of litigation does not fund itself. Two MPs have called for a public inquiry into how this was allowed to run for over a decade. Nobody from the Trust or the law firm has had to explain themselves in public yet.

Eleven years ago a junior doctor said the staffing was unsafe and patients were dying. He was right. He is still right. He is also still in court, still treating patients, and still waiting for someone with actual power to admit it cost over a million pounds of public money just to avoid saying so.

If you think raising a patient safety concern gets you a thank you, ask Dr Day how that one worked out.

The NHS treated a 13-year-old rape victim for STIs including chlamydia in the throat and vagina, gonorrhoea, genital warts, and pelvic inflammatory disease, and later treated her again for injuries caused by gang rape, without ever once filing a safeguarding referral.

Our precious NHS, which this country treats like a second religion, is happy to lecture pregnant mothers that they are not women but “uterus havers” and “chest feeders”, yet repeatedly failed child rape victims right in front of them.

The man in the picture is Peter Lynch. During the protests that took place after the events in Southport a few years ago, Peter was arrested and fast-tracked into prison for simply raising his voice at the police.
