Another (too early) look at PL Attack Efficiency
-Palace far better than the rest, City not far behind
-Arsenal and Spurs taken a dip since MW 2
-Everton starting strong
-Bmouth high on quantity but not quality
-Forest joins Villa at bottom of the pack
Once again, given the small samples these are of course subject to change very quickly. Be careful when making long term inferences with this data. There have been many drastic changes in this data since the previous version which was done after MW2.
A far too early look at PL Shot Efficiency
- Arsenal and Tottenham spotless so far
- City, Chelsea, & B'mouth just behind
- Burnley showing some promising figures
- Villa, Wolves, Sunderland, & West Ham w/ slow starts
- 3-0 may have been a flattering score for Sunderland on MD1
With such small sample sizes, context for each game is even more crucial. LFC and B'mouth both have good results here but it's important to note each of them have had an opponent sent off. LFC had a 1 man advantage for 57 mins vs Newcastle. B'mouth had one for 47 mins vs Wolves
Goals are everything in football but some are more important than others. How can we determine the importance of a goal?
