I would not draw such a hard line. A vast majority of non-tech businesses are actually powered by invoice financing (and soon subscriptions)!

Anyway I think the “De” will slowly fade away as we successfully onboard the world and replace legacy centralised stacks

I think there is a need to draw a line between:

+ DeFi (decentralised finance)
+ DeCo (decentralised commerce)

The former is about trading, lending, market making and derivatives, while the latter is about payments, subscriptions, invoicing and shopping.
