Traditional grass lawns, perpetually mowed and maintained, consume vast amounts of water—nearly one-third of residential usage in the United States—exacerbating shortages in drought-prone areas. They rely on pesticides and fertilizers that leach into waterways, causing pollution and harmful algal blooms. Moreover, these monocultures offer little habitat for essential pollinators like bees and butterflies, or for birds and other wildlife, contributing to widespread biodiversity loss. Even the gas-powered mowers used to keep them pristine emit significant pollutants, far exceeding those from idling vehicles.

Your own ventures, such as the Aberdeenshire golf course, have inflicted lasting damage on protected ecosystems, including irreplaceable sand dunes, in violation of environmental regulations. And in your current term, policies rolling back safeguards on millions of acres of national forests and easing water restrictions only compound these issues, prioritizing personal and industrial interests over planetary health. This isn’t mastery of grass; it’s a profound misunderstanding of its role in a balanced ecosystem. Your decisions pose a serious danger to society and have caused immense harm to the Earth and its inhabitants.

But your gaps in knowledge extend far beyond turf; the disinformation you promote and the divisive rhetoric you employ are deeply concerning. From inflating the national debt by trillions through unchecked spending and tax policies that favor the elite, to denying the science of climate change while accelerating deregulations that endanger air, water, and wildlife, your decisions reveal a consistent disregard for facts and long-term consequences. Claims of resolving nonexistent conflicts, like a fabricated war between allied separatist regions in Ukraine, further erode credibility. It’s not just grass you fail to grasp—it’s the broader realities of economics, diplomacy, and sustainability that suffer under such misguided leadership. Reality is a concept you seem unfamiliar with.

For the sake of our environment and future generations, it’s time to recognize these shortcomings rather than fabricate expertise. These actions and inactions reflect a pattern akin to environmental negligence on a grand scale.
