@lsv but couldnt make the mana, tap-untap monolith+Foundry fast enough to win both games, it took me like 7 minutes to make a lethal amount of 4/4's.
any tips on how to do all that colorless mana spending and clicking any faster? i've googled for shortcuts but no luck yet. thanks!

@lsv i'm a relatively inexperienced mtgo V-cube drafter but do watch your videos most days. donated to the current v-cube fundraiser and got a couple tokens and ended up with a great Zerda/monolith deck, but found that i can't play it fast enough. was infinite with Retrofitter

@DavidMa37269023 @lsv @Marshall_LR we expect the next Marvel set to at least be a real set, ie built for actual 8-person, pick-one draft and not 100 cards smaller than a real set. that's the issue with this set, not that it's Marvel.

regardless, to say they need to hire storytellers is incongruent with the fact that they do in fact employ a whole, and for my money mostly brilliant, team of them.

@RomSparrowhawk @ghirapurigears they do hire a bunch of invested storytellers, that's how they put out 4 sets a year in original worlds with unique lore. them doing an IP set is not mutually exclusive with that, in fact they're doing more new non-IP sets these days than at any point in Magic's history

@BandNameCast @StarCityBen there's no templating problem here. the card as written tells you exactly what needs to happen, just as everyone else has described in their responses. "that player shuffles" has been used many times, eg. Interview Betrayal, Surgical Extraction, Jace the Mind Sculptor.

@drchewiestyles @ghirapurigears modern and legacy are the closest things we to what Magic was intended to be. Commander is the farthest. it's not garbage, and if you like it that's fine, but why crap on people playing the game that Garfield actually invented?
