@VGC_FR
Today, we (me and my kids) were removed from a Pokémon tournament, with police involvement, after refusing to provide our team ID containing our EVs 48 hours in advance.
This requirement came in a context where one of the organizers’ sons was also competing in the tournament.
Is this really what competitive integrity and fair play are supposed to look like?
Every day feels heavier than the one before. The situation keeps getting worse, and meeting even the most basic needs has become a struggle. We are doing our best to stay strong, but we cannot do it alone. Any support, no matter how small, can make a real difference for my family. Thank you to everyone who stands with us during these difficult times. 🙏❤️https://t.co/wWjvfCM2VO
💔 Every day feels heavier than the one before. We are exhausted, overwhelmed, and struggling to keep going. The fear, uncertainty, and hardship never seem to end. We try to stay strong, but some days the pain feels stronger than hope. All we can do is keep moving forward and pray for better days. 🥀🙏https://t.co/wWjvfCM2VO

Gaza’s plates are empty
Let’s change that
Every day feels harder than the one before.
The fear never truly leaves, and the struggle to find food, medicine, and basic necessities continues.
We are doing our best to stay strong, but we cannot do it alone.
Please keep us in your prayers, share our story, and help if you can. ❤️🙏https://t.co/wWjvfCM2VO

Maram Ayyad
@alwrdt45335
Maram Ayyad is a 20-year-old university student from Gaza whose studies are currently on hold because she can no longer afford tuition and related costs. She lives with her 42-year-old mother and four younger siblings, Rina (16), Fares (12), Mohammed (10), and Joud (6), in a tent on rented land that costs $150 per month. The family lost both Maram’s father and brother during the genocide; her father was martyred when a building he was in was struck while he was buying food, and his body remains under the rubble, while her brother was martyred while accompanying his aunt to her home. Displaced around 15 times since the start of the genocide, the family now relies on a daily soup kitchen and occasional donations, which have largely stopped. Maram’s mother suffers from a herniated disc and requires treatment and medication costing about $200 per month, which the family cannot afford. Fresh drinking water is available only once a week, and carrying it has begun causing Maram back problems. The four children continue attending school, but education and school supply costs total roughly $700 per month. Maram hopes to resume her university education and continue supporting her mother and younger siblings while the family works to meet its most basic needs.

Ibrahim Al-Masry
@mmyn1976
Ibrahim Al-Masry is a 25-year-old married man originally from north who has been displaced 10 times across Gaza and now lives in a tent with seven family members, including his pregnant wife, four children, and his injured brother, while paying 450 dinars in rent. He spends much of his day trying to collect aid for his family, but says the food and water available are not enough or reliable. His brother remains in critical condition after shrapnel entered his brain and two surgeries were unsuccessful. Doctors advised further surgery abroad, but he has been unable to travel and his health has continued to decline, leaving him dependent on ongoing medication. Ibrahim is also struggling to care for his four children, who are experiencing malnutrition and need nutritious food. His campaign is focused on securing medication for his brother and food for his children as he worries about his brother’s condition and the growing risks facing his family, especially his pregnant wife, while living through worsening conditions and repeated displacement.

Cancer and diabetes while living in a tent alone. This is the case of this woman in Gaza who is struggling to survive and has her 11 year old nephew to check on her.

The Sameer Project team filmed this video in Amal Camp 1 & 2 that’s on the beach in Gaza City. We provided the camp on May 24th with 378 bags of bread and 2 bags to a special medical case. Total cost was $653 and this includes the 11% commission.
The commission goes to our fiscal host in the UK (social change nest) and our fiscal host in Gaza, with a total of 9% commission. The remaining 2% go for operational costs outside Gaza like building the website, subscriptions for tools and stipends for team abroad.

You Can’t Stop the Bombs
But You Can Stop the Hunger
Yesterday in the UK, a judge ruled against four direct action activists who damaged Israeli military assets owned by Elbit Systems in 2024. They are facing years of jail time and were sentenced for an “act of terrorism”, for attempting to slow down the weapons production and movement from the UK to Israel where these weapons and technology are used in daily acts of terrorism and genocidal violence against Palestinians in Gaza. We live in a time where the people of conscience who try to stop genocide are labeled as terrorists and the war profiteers and politicians who make the laws to defend them enjoy full impunity.
Sama Safi is a 20-year old U.S. citizen and student who was kidnapped by Israeli soldiers from her family home at 3am last week and remains in Israeli prison. She has a chronic health condition and requires daily medication. Her life is at risk—our government must free her now!
