@allie__voss This isn't as widespread as you make it sound. A lot of us Boomers are actively helping our adult children and most certainly making sure they receive what we have when we're gone. Generalizations like this are just clickbait.
@Indychick31 Reminds me of when IBJ wrote an article stating that Indy would never be major league without Starbucks, which of course happened at a cost of lots of local coffee shops. Fortunately many survived and new ones came along.
@mattgaetz Kratom is a wonderful medicine that helps muscular pain with no discernible side effects and does not seem addictive. 70H is a perverse concoction. One dose almost killed my friend. Maybe if it was carefully regulated, but even this dose came from a legit dispensary.
@Seedsoilsunrain Needed a new kitchen trashcan. Went to Ace Hardware. $65 for plastic with pop top. Talk about sticker shock. I found a nice old metal one at a thrift store for $15. This is the way.
I've found the 4 Hour Time Marker to be the Big One. I Completely Change after 240 minutes of Sungazing.
This is where my entire Brain is Growing, and I'm happy to spread this info to you. My Pineal Gland is becoming Gigantic, my Brain feels like the exact size of the Milky Way. That's a literal feeling I have.
All 114 Chakras will Activate and Spin Correctly after 4 hours.
@EthanHatcher Friends with owners. Yes, specialty retail is a challenge. One of a series of construction projects in Indy's key small biz retail areas the past few years. With disposal income scarce, any disruption like this can be a death blow. Progress, but at what cost?
@mass_ave Yes, you will. And you and I probably know many people in common. It's a small world. Message me here if you want to come by and meet up there. Thanks
@garysgotabanger One of the weirdest and most primal bands of the 70s imho. Loved them then and still do. You know they had a few US releases after this one so they must have sold enough to keep them going. Thanks for posting this.
I think we should have gone for 8-1 and left Indy intact. The map proposed split Indy into four districts which is not so defensible and terrible if Indy wants to be represented in Congress, which of course it does. I want MAGA to win, but we have to be careful about the means to end, imho.
@unseen1_unseen They are all idiots here, both parties. I live in Indy and am fully MAGA. While I agree with the reason for redistricting, chopping Indy into 4 districts is the definition of gerrymandering which we are supposed to be opposed to.
Shoutout to anyone like me who rarely posts or comments. I'm a busy person IRL. Posting is a commitment not everyone can manage. I read constantly and send my endless appreciation for the content creators that make this place special.
It's very rare that boomers bought only one house in their lifetime. At age 69 I bought a house for $330k and will have the mortgage paid off by the time I'm 99. Boomers are a mobile generation and houses were out of reach form most of us until the 1980's. We are all in this together.
@recovery_your As a new follower, I had no idea. My heart goes out to you. I followed you because your words spoke to me at a time when I'm needing inspiration and solace. You were essentially here for me, when you really need someone there for you. If I can ever help please reach out.
@deaflibertarian Great post, and it's so scary. I stumbled into this video on YouTube which I thought was an unknown 70's record. Turns out it was AI created. Well done, but not real. We are about to lose our actual history to facsimiles. https://t.co/32gzMz7s9R
UPS. Trustworthy? I sent an Next Day guaranteed package on a Wednesday which was understandably delayed one day by weather. Instead of delivering on Friday they returned it as undeliverable after it languished in two different cities for 48 hours, never getting close to the destination. When I requested a refund of the nearly $39 I paid, it was rejected because I didn't "check the box allowing Saturday delivery". Which would have been the fourth day, well outside the guaranteed window. So much for trusting UPS with anything important and never again believing Next Day guarantees. UPS Sucks.
