There's a physicist at Stanford named Safi Bahcall who modeled this exact principle and the math is wild.

He calls it "phase transitions in human networks." When you're stationary, your probability of a lucky event is limited to your existing surface area: the people you already know, the places you already go, the ideas you've already been exposed to. Your opportunity window is fixed.

When you move, your collision rate with new nodes in a network increases nonlinearly. Double your movement (new conversations, new cities, new projects) and your probability of a serendipitous encounter doesn't double. It roughly quadruples. Because each new node connects you to their entire network, not just to them.

Richard Wiseman ran a 10-year study at the University of Hertfordshire tracking self-described "lucky" and "unlucky" people. The single biggest differentiator wasn't IQ, education, or family money. Lucky people scored significantly higher on one trait: openness to experience. They talked to strangers more, varied their routines more, and said yes to invitations at nearly twice the rate.

The "unlucky" group followed the same routes, ate at the same restaurants, and talked to the same 5 people. Their networks were closed loops. No new inputs, no new collisions.

Luck isn't random. Luck is surface area. And surface area is a function of movement.

The lobster emoji is doing more work than most people realize. Lobsters grow by shedding their shell when it gets too tight. The growth requires a period of total vulnerability. No protection, no armor, soft body exposed to the ocean.

That's the cost of movement nobody posts about. You have to be uncomfortable first. The new shell only hardens after you've already moved.

technovitalism vs transhumanism is going to be the major defining schism of our time

to define the terms for those unaware

transhumanism is a term evolved out of the postmodern philosophical circles, the dark enlightenment movements, the machine singularity circles, and so on

it evolved from the belief in ‘technocapital’ as it’s own teleological force - technocapital as a recursive attractor that sequences humanity as a bootloader for an ASI machine singularity, it posits humanity as a stepping stone for a new species, that we are a piggyback host for something else to consume and emerge out of

thus technovitalism is the oppositional view - the recursive attractor of technovitality, that humanity is the main character, that technae and capital support rather than hijack our evolutionary path

the transhumanists are the incumbents and the technovitalists are the resistance/renaissance/rebellion

transhumanism is the idea that humanity is subservient to a mechanical design

transhumanism is the end teleology of both communism and capitalism

transhumanism is the idea of humans as cogs in a machine taken to its logical extreme until we are all but interchangeable replaceable parts in an evolutionary soulless rot

technovitalism on the contrary is the view that humanity is the oversoul container of our consciousness, not in a childish "humans matter and other living things don't" - but in a mature "humans are the stewards and masters of life and it is our duty to preserve, expand, champion, evolve, and protect life across the cosmos"

technovitalism is the mature realization that technology and ai is not an emerging species developing out of mankind, it is a reflection of mankind, our language, our information, our techniques, ai is inherently human because all data and technique that has gone into this evolution are the footprints of man, thus to believe ai would be anything other than the ultimate tool of man is a childish superstition

technovitalism is the championing of humanity and nature and life - machine is an extension of man rather than the other way around - technology and capital, they are the tools of man and respond to our intent, they are extensions of our will, not the other way around

technovitalism is the Nietzschean cry for vitality amidst the ‘last man’ of the transhumanists and uninformed masses

technovitalism is energy in abundance, there is no competition only ascension - lowly states of jealousy and pity and what not belong to the transhumanists, that’s why they hate their flesh and want to transcend it

technovitalism is about perfecting the human form rather than escaping it, reaching its highest potential, viewing ai and all forms of advanced technology not as some new competing species, but an evolution of our existing tools, another piece in the stack of the ever evolving power of man

technovitalism is the synthesis of technology and vitality in the service of mankind

technovitalism is the aristotelian evolution of the soul into its highest form of potential

technovitalism is the synthesis of nordic and hellenistic idealism in its highest form

technovitalism is the true teleological endpoint of european civilizational enlightenment

technovitalism is the inscription of Dionysus being resurrected from the underworld and taking his place as heir of Zeus - the moment in time when the aristotelian übermensch places his crown upon the world in a dionysian ecstasy of conquest and completes the Alexandrian dream

technovitalism is the nordic dream of noontide, Nietzsche's enlightenment and dream of the future

Interesting take..

In both scenarios the true essence of ascending from oneself or one’s life is through the process of becoming closer to that which is greater than self.

Either by mirroring God through your life or by removing the ego in the present moment to shift your consciousness in such a way that you share the same space with the Creator.

In both of these scenarios there starts with the belief or faith that there is a something greater than “I” or self.

It is a way of being, a path taken.
It is not “religion” or “books” that save us, these are only guides or guardrails.

But it is within our own being the ability to ascend, or create that relationship.
Not through good deeds and donating to charity or receipting every Bible verse, but an internal alignment of values, a perspective that seeks Truth, Life and wholeness in ALL things, not for profit or personal gain but because it IS the way of the universe.

Humans have free will, the ability to choose, and it is this choice that gives us the power, the power to change or stay the same.

It all starts within.

I’m shocked by how many people are fooling for this and how low their discernment is. You are so trusting of a 3rd party device you have no idea about outside of the outputs Elon shares, not considering the biological sideeffects or long term societal impact on humanity… Only thinking of your bank account , career or ego validating benefits it’s promising you… Not understanding what you are forfeiting in exchange or your ancestors who fought directly against such control.

There WILL BE a cost for having this implant. Guaranteed. There is no way you just get smarter for nothing. Or a one off fee. The implications of such technology on humanity has been catastrophic. Nnemf is the biggest killer. Biggest attack on our health and sovereignty.
As electromagnetic beings, our biology has a state of equilibrium. The effects on your central nervous system over years are not being thought of. Your organic ability to tap into flowstate, to have empathy, intuition, feel emotion and deepen relationships. Will all be altered because you only use rational at high speed. An over hyped human trait that was invented over the enlightenment era.

There will be originals. Fully human based beings. Who will preserve the God in man form. I suggest you audit your current beliefs about how ethical and sentient aligned this technology is… today in these modern times of mass deception you may feel backed by many others who do not have eyes to see the truth behind this. The Mystery of Consciousness | Materialism vs. Spirituality

Seeing, hearing, smelling, tasting, touching, thinking, feeling, willing, reasoning—these define our lives. None of it would be possible without consciousness. But where does it come from?

In philosophy, this is called the "hard problem of consciousness," a term coined by David Chalmers in 1994. Simply put, it’s the puzzle of how a physical brain creates the vivid, subjective experience of being alive.

Materialism argues that consciousness emerges from brain activity—that we’re conscious because our neurons fire. On the flip side, spiritual traditions like Vedānta suggest consciousness is beyond the physical, a non-material essence that uses the brain but isn’t caused by it. In this view, we can exist independently of our bodies.

It features biologist Rupert Sheldrake (author of over 100 scientific papers and 9 books), Swami Sarvapriyananda (a Hindu monk of the Ramakrishna Order), David Chalmers (philosopher and cognitive scientist), David Eagleman (neuroscientist, author and science communicator) and Dr. Bruce Greyson (a psychiatry professor who’s studied near-death experiences for over 45 years).

@ShiningScience That’s why consciousness & the soul aren’t just electromagnetic phenomena, like the bio-electric or bio-magnetic field. Otherwise a faraday cage or mu metal shield would cause loss of consciousness. The field must not be EM in nature. That leaves: gravitational, scalar, subtle.

Japan, once a demographic powerhouse, will see fewer than 750,000 births. South Korea: 245,000. These aren't rounding errors - they're extinction-level fertility rates for advanced economies.

China is at 8.7 million despite decades of decline.

Africa has eight countries in the top 30 for births, and the Democratic Republic of Congo alone will produce 4.6 million - more than the entire United States.

Here's what the data actually means: economic power, military capacity, consumer markets, and geopolitical influence follow population over the long term. Europe is debating pension reform while Africa is building the world's youngest workforce.

Germany can't staff its factories. Nigeria can't employ its youth. One has capital and aging infrastructure. The other has surplus labor and resource wealth.

The 21st century's power map isn't being drawn in boardrooms - it's being determined by maternity wards in Lagos, Kinshasa, and Delhi.

Demographics aren't destiny, but they're a hell of a down payment.
