@noahrshinn@stripe@link@instinct When will you guys publish a more transparent privacy policy and let us know what models you're using and how much training you're doing?
@wongmjane@instinct I'd love to try Instinct, but their privacy policy scares the hell out of me. Have you seen any noise about them potentially tightening it up? We literally don't even know what model they use and where the training is happening.
@amorriscode Definitely needed a glow up and lots of nice new things, but please, the constant branching into new threads is deeply confusing and the removal of the little tips / suggestions in the compose box is sad.
@sarahzorah Hi Sarah - thanks for the update. We applied and got rejected, but it's not clear why. I could be because our Claude Console email login is not our company email, which I didnt realise at the time. Should I reapply with that somehow?
Last month at @RamenClubHQ I’ve been building a proper member portal for our community to navigate all our resources, all built with Codex desktop app:
- stack is Cloudflare Workers, Supabase db/auth, Loops for email, Stripe for payments, Astro frontend
- added full billing automation for existing and new members (probably took the longest out of everything)
- all 500 discounts, plus editable member directory, recorded content, upcoming events here via Secret, Drive & Luma APIs
- PostHog & Fathom analytics & session replays
- automated verification between account and Slack profiles upon joining
- all fast, secure, works on mobile
Next:
- member directory 2.0
- make all browsable via MCP
- members can submit own discounts, apply to host live classes, apply to host events, volunteer in other ways
- education 2.0
- some other useful and fun stuff 😉 (@HCJMartin has been cooking too)
We’re just getting started.
@RobertJBye Confusing. Coding and chatting are for many, different things. More use of colour / dividers would help
Also, starting a chat and being offered a folder is confusing for newer users. They’ll get to cowork eventually
@KyWhitney@nandoprince93 Guys I'm very tempted to go from U2 to U4 - can you quantify that speed jump? I've been running watchOS27 throughout the betas and its deeply unreliable - is it better on the new U4 chip?
