I genuinely don’t understand why some people have such a massive issue with VTubers doing IRL content.
Like…who exactly decided that becoming a VTuber means signing a blood contract promising to never show your real face, body, outfits, travels, cosplays, or anything outside of your model ever again?
People are allowed to do both.
You can love being a VTuber, love your character, love the community you’ve built around it, AND still enjoy making IRL content.
If you don’t like it, you don’t have to watch it.
There’s a block button.
There’s a mute button.
There’s an unfollow button.
There’s even this revolutionary technique called scrolling past it.
What you don’t need to do is make entire videos tearing someone down, insulting them, questioning whether they’re a “real VTuber,” or treating them like they’ve personally committed a crime against VTubing because their content doesn’t fit your personal definition of what a VTuber should be.
VTubing has evolved massively over the years. There isn’t one sacred little rulebook everyone has to follow.
Some VTubers are completely anonymous.
Some do handcams.
Some cosplay their models.
Some do conventions IRL.
Some show their faces occasionally.
Some are basically hybrid creators who comfortably exist in both spaces.
And guess what?
They’re still VTubers
You are completely allowed to prefer traditional VTubing. You’re allowed to dislike face reveals or IRL content. Nobody is forcing you to consume it.
But your personal preference does not magically become a set of rules that everybody else has to follow.
Creators are allowed to evolve. They’re allowed to experiment. They’re allowed to enjoy different types of content without asking the VTuber council for permission first.
So if someone’s content isn’t for you?
Block them. Unfollow them. Keep scrolling.
You don’t have to be horrible to another human being just because they’re enjoying VTubing differently than you do.
It is genuinely that damn simple.
I made a RACING GAME for my stream!
I took 12 otters and kobolds, turned them into anime girls, and made them race. The best part? My viewers can gamba in chat on who they think will win!
Who's your favourite?
@Pacqs1@NotAzehara and for jowol and others, we do not know if the situation is happening on the criminal sphere or is only a breach of contract. that is probably being sorted between their lawyers and that would explain why they are not ssaying shit on twitter for people to gossip about
@Pacqs1@NotAzehara what is criminal activity is to be determined by court. you can claim that on court, but the breach of the nda needs to be especifically courts, regulatory bodies etc and not twitter. doing so would be breach of contract, that can be disputed, but it would only be more trouble
@Pacqs1@NotAzehara the duty to keep the information confidential is separate from the duty to fulfill whatever contract he had. they are two separare clauses, and if you become a wrongdoer too you lose legal leverage. he will probably be able to void that in court, but that need to be done first
at some point point vtubers need to talk to each other about this stuff. the work has been done poorly by novel horizons since 2023 and people are gettomg scammed 3 years later
i have been biting my tongue because the team at novel horizons have been nothing but sweethearts as people but yeah in terms of their work it was done very unprofessionally
my fans ordered the figurines around 2023 and they didnt receive them until 2025. TWO WHOLE YEARS LATER. 🥹
and when they FINALLY started rolling out, my discord FLOODED with photos of the figures being broken or unpainted in certain areas.
with all the money my fans spent on it, it makes me very sad they had to wait all that time to receive faulty products.
So to the Phase Fans that do like, actually watch talents. If you ever just want to see the list of live talents or upcoming waiting rooms without scouring their channels themselves. Phase's official website has a Schedule thing.

Been using it for a while.
