Sufyān ath-Thawrī رحمه الله تعالى said:
“Do not speak about three things:
١. Sins.
٢. Good deeds.
٣. Pain.
This is true patience.”

Allah already warned us about idols and false gods:
“Those you invoke besides Allah can neither help you nor help themselves.”

They have no power to benefit you, protect you, or even assist themselves.
Ibn Qayyim (رحمه الله) said:
“If you contemplate about the seven whom Allah will shade in the shade of His `Arsh wherein there is no shade but His,
you will find that they deserved that shade because of their opposition to their desires.”
