@MhehedZherting The cyclic stress forces per mm2 can be kept constant by scaling up the thickness of the sections, but the slower frequency results in fewer cycles over a lifetime.
@StuartB55140536@renewablesmiffy Metal fatigue mitigation is often misunderstood. Bolts are preloaded to 75-80% of their strength to reduce the force cycling in them to very small levels. The preload moves the majority of the force cycling to the joint between the two parts that the bolts are clamping together.
@StuartB55140536@renewablesmiffy Steady torque is irrelevant for fatigue. It's the cyclic force on all the bolts and on the bearing races as the balls/rollers go past that matters. In gears it's the tooth hit rate causes chipping. Slower force cycling frequency means fewer cycles which means longer life.
@nemanjan00@mdhardeman Looks like the BGA64 package, similar to the BGA100 package but smaller. You can get specific socket adapters for it. They all looked like this before the BGA153 package came out.
@GrahamJCampbell@logi_con@Mr_Ess8@BioMickWatson@DanNeidle This is why we have a plethora of other taxes and the most complicated tax code on the planet to try catch them somewhere. Their zero-dividend shares are just paper wealth. Their real privilege is being able to go non-dom so easily.
@TheTweetOfGod "The Long Walk" by Sławomir Rawicz, dramatised as "The Way Back" starring Colin Farrell and Ed Harris, though the real escapee is thought to have been another Polish veteran, Witold Gliński
