Travel scholarships were typically available for PhD students attending COMBINE (and still are, so if you are a PhD student apply as well!) but are now extended to include postdocs who also might be lacking independent funding.
If you're a bioinformatics postdoc travelling to the @abacbs conference in Brisbane this year - the @abacbspostdocs subcommittee have travel scholarships specifically available for postdocs for the first time! Abstracts close 25th Sept!!
