@blaiseforet Couldn’t shake the idea yesterday that the main people in the Bible Jesus seemed to treat with contempt were the leaders. Yet so many are terrified to say anything against the mighty leaders of our day.
@shadowcrewtroll@KaeleyT I know it sounds insane, but in the moment it hit different. These things jack with your head, but The SA is 100% more disturbing.
@DavidFish7@ahailstone@ChrisTofilon Yeah, there’s some truth there. Every push for creativity was met with resistance by leadership. I fought it constantly behind the scenes. Thankfully, my last few years with Tof was unrestrained with little concern for the pushback.
@DavidFish7@ahailstone I appreciate your post. Some of the incredible things that happened musically can get lost in all of the insanity. There was an exodus of primary WL’s and musicians around 2012. But the innovation continued. We explored some strange places with @ChrisTofilon.
@DavidFish7 I think MB did not feel the need to emphasize the Lord‘s prayer since it was already well established in church history and did not help set us apart from others
@DavidFish7 I remember the day it occurred to me that we did not include the Lord‘s prayer on the infamous mb blue sheet of apostolic prayers. This was the approved list mb curated to pray from when you had the microphone. I asked a different leaders why and simply got, “I don’t know”.
@jonochall Paul Cains close ties with William Brennan is quite disturbing. His connection to the KKK makes me reconsider the prophetic phrase, “The best of the bloodlines.”
@MikeWingerii@ET_Evangelist This is the one from around 2001. It’s the one I’m most familiar with. Austin Roberts put all 12 sessions on YouTube. Here is the 1st. https://t.co/pF9g636mSZ
