On this day in 2006, we released the Here It Goes Again music video. This video cost less than $5,000 and was shot in 17 very sweaty takes, but it took us to the Grammys, the VMAs, and to the email inboxes of millions of people (you couldn’t share videos to social media back then).

20 years later, we actually now can share this to social media. Enjoy!

"Data Center Alley" a section of Virginia with the densest concentration of data centers in the country, caused the power to flicker across the East Coast.

On Wednesday, July 22nd the electricity flickered on and off for about 10 minutes throughout the Eastern U.S., from Chicago to Boston to Miami.

The cause appears to be a concentration of data centers straining the grid.

If you're into 2000s design you DEFINITELY need to know Karim Rashid.

He arguably did more to introduce "good design" To the mainstream audience, than anybody since Johnny Ive.

Just the soap bottles he did for Method were single-handedly responsible for changing the whole CPG category (I know because we referenced them constantly on projects for Dawn, Cascade, Febreze, etc).

I'm not personally a huge fan of this aesthetic, but the man's impact was massive and designers definitely need to put some respect on his name.

When Andres Serrano created “Piss Christ,” a photograph of a crucifix immersed in a container of urine, he was trying to make art for a show on the postmodernist interrogation of fakes in late capitalist society. The exhibit happened in 1987, and Serrano’s work of art flew under the radar.

A year later, Serrano won a fellowship, a portion of which was funded by the National Endowment for the Arts. This, once again, might have gone unnoticed by the general public—if not for the news of the fellowship reaching a former Methodist pastor with a mailing list of hundreds of thousands of conservative Christians.
