I have discovered $50 amazon photo frames to be the PERFECT home display screen
They can be rooted, updated to run a modern browser, have WiFi and can be powered from USB
1280×800 resolution with a nice touch screen
I detailed how to hack these yourself in my latest video

...with twice the brightness, and an extra *1.4 lbs* - and to get charged an additional $1,800 for the privilege.
In the "old days" you could just swap in a larger stick of RAM and call it a day.
Now, get off my lawn.
🧵 I'm grateful that I could upgrade from a 15" M2 MacBook Air to a new 16" M5 Pro MacBook Pro.
But all I really wanted was the same machine I already owned with more RAM.
Instead, I got pushed up the Apple upgrade pipeline because - surprise! - you can't get a MacBook Air with more than 32GB RAM.
Yes, the MacBook Pro has better specs but I don't need an extra Thunderbolt port, an HDMI port, an SD card reader, a ProMotion XDR Mini-LED display...
I used to get frustrated with my agents for doing things without my instruction. Now I'm arguing with them about semantics in AGENTS.md when they tell me they're not allowed to do something. I guess that's an improvement?
@evolvingedgeai Every claim in Ch. 9 is paired with the test that checks it, plus 5 things you can verify without us. Read it and tell us what we got wrong:

We just published a 46-page security white paper for @evolvingedgeai. The best part isn’t a feature. It’s the chapter called “Limits We State Plainly.” 🧵
@evolvingedgeai What we don’t claim: information-theoretic security, unlinkability between nodes, forward secrecy. And Level 2 plaintext does sit in operator RAM for one request. We say so, and tell you to use Level 1 if that matters to you.
Things are moving quickly on the Cloud for Edge Computing. You'll find updates here and on our blog but for the most up-to-date information, subscribe to the changelog: https://t.co/SSAm6xc9Lv

IEEE Spectrum's new piece on distributed AI inference features Evolving Edge - orchestrating idle home compute instead of buying more GPUs.
