The British Empire was, in some ways, a force for good.
In many places it occupied it:
-raised the standard of living
-developed infrastructure
-promoted education

How to become a WRITER:
-Have an idea
-Decide to write a story
-Do EVERYTHING in your power to avoid writing
-Actually write something and discover that writing is AGONY
-Hide in your room for weeks writing
-Spend most of your time posting on Twitter instead of writing
-Cry a lot
