In Goa, 50+ voters "moved" to another constituency without moving an inch from their house.

What's the matter?
→ Goa MLA Vijai Sardesai has filed a formal complaint with the state's Chief Electoral Officer.
→ 50+ voters of Curtorim seat were shifted into the voter list of Fatorda seat.
→ Same people. Same house numbers. They never left their homes.
→ In 2012 and 2017, they voted in Curtorim.
→ In the 2022 and 2026 rolls, they suddenly show up in Fatorda.

So how can a voter change seat without changing house?
Only if the seat's boundary changes. That's called delimitation.
Goa's last delimitation was finished in 2005. Boundaries are frozen since 2008.

No new delimitation. No order. No notice.
Still, the voters crossed the border. 🤔

And remember, this is the same Goa where 97 voters were deleted earlier.

In a state where seats are won by a few hundred votes, 50 votes can decide who wins.

UP SIR : One person submitted Form-6 TEN times. Don’t @ceoup and @ECISVEEP have a system to flag and stop duplicate applications? Is this really so difficult for @TCS to implement?
In several other cases (as mentioned in the X thread below), people submitted three-four Form-6 applications, and the EC issued three-four different EPIC IDs to the same person.

Were these genuine name corrections, or were the IDs reassigned to someone else? The Form 8 records are needed to establish what happened.
