The ongoing desecration and destruction of ancient archaeological sculptures and sacred sites of Koubru and Thangjing by Kuki terrorist groups is not just an attack on the Meitei community in Manipur, India
— it is a grave crime against humanity, history, and global civilization.

These sites, holding over 2000 years of Meitei heritage, are among the most significant archaeological and spiritual landmarks in the world.
Yet, they are being encroached upon and vandalized by groups who, as refugees brought by the British around 1870 as slaves and porters, have now illegally established settlements in these historically critical regions of Manipur, India.

This blatant erasure of history and forced occupation raises serious questions:

𝗙𝗔𝗖𝗧: The Kuki community engineered the #ManipurViolence to demand a separate administration.

𝗙𝗔𝗖𝗧: Both Kukis and Meiteis looted arms, but only the Meiteis returned the looted arms in compliance with the authorities.

𝗙𝗔𝗖𝗧: After the initial days of chaos, Meitei-dominated Imphal quickly returned to normalcy, while Kuki-dominated areas remain in turmoil, with constant attacks being launched on Meitei areas.

𝗙𝗔𝗖𝗧: Since President's Rule was imposed in the state, Meitei-dominated areas have remained completely normal. In contrast, Kuki-dominated areas continue to experience chaos, with frequent infighting among Kuki factions.

𝗙𝗔𝗖𝗧: When central security forces attempted to secure the national highways, the Kukis retaliated and attacked Indian security personnel. To this day, the national highways remain inaccessible.
