Looks like the options thing is happening already!

Though I do strongly urge that if any of these get on mainnet quickly, we formally verify it first. I hope @vyperlang and/or https://t.co/OMFlWRqJda folks ( @Fricoben) can help!

Heads up if you trade crypto or finance up/down markets through the API.
On Friday Jun 5, we're changing how taker orders behave during the 250ms taker delay on these markets. Once your order clears initial validation and enters the delay window, it's locked in as pending until the delay finishes. What that means:
- You can't cancel an order while it's in the delay window. Cancel requests come back rejected with "can't be canceled because it is pending/delayed."
- The order's required balance is held during the delay, so other orders drawing on the same balance are checked against what's left until the delayed order clears.
- Resubmitting the same order while it's in the window will be rejected.
- Dropping the connection or canceling the client request after the order is in the delay won't stop it. It finishes processing once the delay completes.
Cancellation works the same as before everywhere else, and a taker-delayed order is still cancelable if part of it rests on the book.

Binance founder Changpeng Zhao (CZ) has reportedly gone missing after being swept away by a strong rip current while surfing at a beach in Dubai. Search and rescue operations are currently ongoing.

"On the afternoon of May 24 local time, a drowning incident reportedly occurred at a public beach in Jumeirah, Dubai. Changpeng Zhao, founder of the globally recognized cryptocurrency exchange Binance, was surfing near the shoreline when he was caught in a powerful rip current and pulled into deeper waters. Individuals accompanying him immediately contacted emergency authorities.
According to eyewitnesses and beach security personnel, sea conditions initially appeared calm, but the rip current was reportedly extremely strong. CZ was allegedly dragged toward open waters within seconds and disappeared from view shortly afterward.
Local coast guard teams and maritime rescue authorities rapidly launched a large-scale search operation involving speedboats, drones, and rescue helicopters.
As of 11:00 PM Beijing time on May 24, rescue teams were still continuing intensive search efforts."

⚠️ On May 16, 2026, we confirmed a targeted attack by a cybercrime group that gained unauthorized access to our GitHub repositories and downloaded our codebase.
Here is the latest update about our investigations. https://t.co/C2btjWDOxu
We are investigating unauthorized access to GitHub’s internal repositories. While we currently have no evidence of impact to customer information stored outside of GitHub’s internal repositories (such as our customers’ enterprises, organizations, and repositories), we are closely monitoring our infrastructure for follow-on activity.
We're excited to announce our exclusive partnership with Nasdaq Private Market.
Retail traders can now get exposure to private companies, one of the historically most profitable asset classes, exclusively through Polymarket.
Personal update: I've joined Anthropic. I think the next few years at the frontier of LLMs will be especially formative. I am very excited to join the team here and get back to R&D. I remain deeply passionate about education and plan to resume my work on it in time.
Many people have claimed that with AI-assisted bug finding, secure code (and hence trustless anything) will be impossible.
I have a much more optimistic take, and AI-assisted formal verification is a major part of the reason why:

I spent the past few days in Washington with @hyperliquidpc meeting with policymakers during the historic advancement of the Clarity Act. We discussed Hyperliquid, the benefits that it offers to American consumers, and the regulatory path to bring onchain derivatives markets into the United States.
Some conversations were technical with an impressive baseline understanding of Hyperliquid. Discussions included how onchain trading is a financial innovation that has clear global user demand. Other conversations focused more on a first principles introduction to defi and the promise of onchain markets. It was encouraging to see bipartisan support for thoughtful regulation of crypto. I look forward to continuing discussions in DC and working hard to make American access to Hyperliquid a reality.
