The RNLI normally receives around £25,000 to £30,000 in donations a day.
Thanks to the far-right, whenever they attack the charity, donations increase significantly.
For example, the image on the left is from today. They’ve raised over £100,000, with 2,428 people donating. Yesterday, they raised £63,000, with 1,517 people donating.
The image on the right is from August last year. On one day, they raised just over £25,000 from 289 donors, and the following day they raised nearly £22,000.
It’s almost as if the far-right attacks are raising more money for the RNLI.
Please don’t tag @Nigel_Farage in posts about fundraising for the RNLI, because every interaction will make his phone ping and he’s a busy man who doesn’t need distractions. For example, The Flying Farage Appeal reaching £334,191 at https://t.co/zk6r2LAsD8.

🚨 “Britain’s third-highest taxpayer to leave country.”
But look more closely at what leave means.
Hedge-fund billionaire Chris Rokos, estimated to have paid £330 million in UK income tax last year, is reportedly switching his tax residence to Greece, where qualifying wealthy foreigners can pay a flat €100,000 annual charge on overseas income.
Yet his hedge fund still has a London operation. Public reporting says he has spent more than £200 million acquiring and restoring Tottenham House, other buildings and thousands of acres in Wiltshire.
His tax residence can leave Britain. His British assets and the legal protections supporting them remain.
This is The Sovereign Individual made real: wealthy people shopping between countries for the lowest tax while retaining assets across several jurisdictions.
This same separation between residence, responsibility and power is visible in British political finance.
Reform received £12 million in party donations from Thailand-based British crypto investor Christopher Harborne. Farage also received a separate £5 million personal gift from him shortly before returning to parliamentary politics.
Then last week @Verbatim_Media fake American-donor investigation showed how an impermissible overseas donor’s money might allegedly be channelled through a permissible UK-based son, including by purchasing polling that benefited the party. Reform denies wrongdoing.
Current law permits registered overseas electors to donate. The Government proposes limiting them to £100,000 a year but that would still allow one person living abroad vastly more political influence than thousands of ordinary British residents combined.
Large political donations should come only from people genuinely resident in Britain, using their own verified funds. Paid polling, services and indirect benefits must count. And all donations should be subject to a meaningful cap.
Ordinary farmers cannot relocate their soil. Workers cannot move their jobs offshore. They live with the consequences of the governments elected here.
You should not be able to detach yourself from Britain’s obligations while using a vast fortune to purchase disproportionate influence over how Britain is governed.
British democracy must belong to the people who live here, not internationally mobile billionaires shopping for political power.
Yet another Reform UK publicity stunt dead in water a couple of days after its announcement.
Imagine Bardella and Farage thinking “yeah, this will work”.
Farage’s only talent is shit-stirring.
Danny Tommo is a convicted kidnapper with a history of domestic violence - hardly somebody to be held up as a role model.
And 500 identically dressed men turning up together isn't a spontaneous protest, it's coordinated political theatre.
Farage stood in Birmingham and declared a national emergency.
Not for the mould in the bedroom. Not for the eight hour wait in A&E. Not for the energy giants still extracting rent from every kettle you boil.
An emergency so he can pack the Lords with hundreds of his own peers and sack any judge who gets in the way.
This is the man who spent thirty years screaming about unelected foreigners. Now he wants to stuff the unelected chamber because it might inconvenience him.
Who pays? A Thai crypto billionaire’s five million “gift”. Aides caught on tape discussing how to hide foreign money. Two of them gone before the conference even finished.
And the offer to you? Slash fifty billion off benefits. Kill the green levies so the same companies keep the profits. Call it taking back control.
Control of what? The same hedge funds and landlords who’ve owned the country while you paid the bill.
We don’t need another rich man’s emergency. We need the energy companies in public hands, homes that aren’t speculation, and a state that answers to the people who actually keep the lights on.
Not a pint and panic merchant rewriting the last checks that still bother him.
Reform tanking. Asylum seekers down. Immigration down. Shambles at the conference.
Immigration is all Reform has left.
And then all of a sudden, Danny Tommos morons pop up.
The timing isn't coincidence.

Yet again Pat McFadden has to remind @RidgeandFrost that Employers DON’T pay NI if they employ people under 21 (unless they earn more than 50k).
Pat: I don’t think employers know that.
Quite, because all the broadcasters don’t inform viewers.

Since it's inception the RNLI have lost a minimum of 438 crew attempting to saving lives at sea. More depending on how you define that.
Every single time a volunteer answers that call they show more courage than any of the armchair warriors shouting at their keyboards.
