My dad didn't mask during an outing with his friends & brought COVID home in 2023.
I would never recover from that infection. It's been over 3 years & I am still bedbound 80-90% of each day.
My dad died of a cardiac arrest just a few months later.
This is why we still mask.
BREAKING: Midtown Manhattan high rise evacuated after construction workers discover buckled columns ... sagging floors and falling bricks. 42nd & 43rd streets near 2nd avenue closed as DOB assesses the danger.
"[no unit] in the larger new apartment complexes was vacant for at least six months last year"
LANDLORD SUPPLIED DATA. THEY'D PAY PENALTIES IF THEY REPORTED VACANCIES.
I TOLD U @CeciliaforBerk's politics were performative to get in office. Pure YIMBY.

THE ELEVATOR IS STILL BROKEN!!
It was supposed to be fixed this week, but they postponed to April 6-7.
This could be immediately fixed if the landlord would pay up. Studios start at $2679/mo. City council was purchased by big real estate, so the city won't do shit.
Hey kids, it's Garbage Apartment story time!
My friend f'd up his back, like the scream-in-pain kind. He can't move. Calls 911. Begging for pain meds. He's reassured they will give him something when they get to the rig. Drum roll please...they all get stuck in the elevator!

This is pretty crazy. I live in a brand new built 2019 high rise. Water is literally coming out of the foundation walls.
Might need to call the city ✔️
