🚨 UPDATE: Senate Leader John Thune says SAVE America Act is DEAD, he's NOT getting the votes to nuke the filibuster, and he laughed when asked if President Trump could turn on him as a result
ROLLING OVER IS THE WRONG MOVE!
"We don't have the votes...the SAVE America didn't even get 50 votes on the floor. But even just on photo voter ID and citizenship, it takes 60 votes, and the only way to do it is get rid of the filibuster. There aren't even CLOSE to the votes to get rid of it."
"We all agree with it, but it's not something we can get done absent electing more Republicans."
If they LISTENED to 47 the midterms would become HEAVILY GOP favorited, because the cheating would be stopped in its tracks and turnout would surge 🇺🇸
Just a 2-cent wealth tax on the ultra-wealthy could:
Lift millions of kids out of poverty
Fund universal child care
Make community college free
And we would still have money left over.
You could not be more wrong in validating an obvious persecution complex when the JOB is unification. His work on the WH & surrounding institutions should improve the image of our capital. But his abusive style undermines it all. KGJ
The Knicks lost last night and somehow it's POTUS's fault? If they had won would POTUS have gotten the credit? The whole thing is absurd. The President is a massive sports fan and has been for many decades. If he wants to go to any sporting event, good for him. Truth be told, a lot of the sports commentators are very liberal. But this really does take the cake.
The same applies to POTUS's effort to beautify our nation's capital. He has a decades' long background as one of the greatest developers in the history of New York. He's cleaning up and refurbishing monuments and buildings in DC. And for this, he is attacked and sued. And federal judges absurdly attempt to obstruct him by using frivolous lawsuits, which they should dismiss, to halt construction, remove building names, or whatever. Dumbest damn thing I've seen in some time.
BREAKING: House Judiciary Chairman Jim Jordan rips into the Southern Poverty Law Center during a fiery congressional hearing, accusing the civil rights organization of fabricating extremism for profit.
Jordan alleged that the SPLC coordinated with and paid an individual who helped plan the infamous Charlottesville rally. Following the violent event, the group allegedly saw its income skyrocket from $51 million to $133 million.
"You run a scam, you become the standard, you don't get prosecuted and you make a ton of money.”
“They got 800 million assets, 700 million in an endowment. Such a deal."
Head to Fox One right now so you don't miss a single second of this historic hearing: https://t.co/sGGmtAeG3L
@Joco818790 It’s a fact. State sponsorship of terrorist groups is the biggest threat the world has faced over the last two decades. Iran needs to STOP if it wants to be accepted on world stage. KGJ
Keep your poisonous garbage off my television and my phone. You’ll get plenty of attention when my case against you goes to trial in the meantime, shut the hell up.
@SecMullinDHS@ICEgov So why aren’t you? The public supports deporting violent criminals but calling pp who came here illegally ‘criminals’ is pathetic.
