For a brief moment I wondered if this was a relative of all the greenfly I have ever squished come to exact revenge! 😳 Nope, female Bush Cricket according to Google 😊 A first for me. What a beauty!

@BotanyRNG @meadowmania @TimmermansPeter @TheBotanics @RNGherb @hannah_con_bio So they are… and look at the colour of the pedicels, yours appear pale green while both of mine are dark purple/brown - variable indeed :)

@BotanyRNG @meadowmania @TimmermansPeter @TheBotanics @RNGherb @hannah_con_bio I have two different colours… the darker I grew from seed sold as Muscari neglectum a few years ago! A happy surprise when finally revealed itself this year. The pale one from a plant sale. Will keep an eye out for other variations now 😊
