I don't buy local stocks on IKBR. However you can buy dual listed stocks e.g. like Sasol and the likes if you want to as ADRS on the NYSE. I use STD OST to buy the local ones though to keep it simple. With SHYFT, one can buy local and international though, but with a slightly higher cost and wider spread which I don't mind. IKBR has superior research capabilities, significantly smaller spreads and basically zero cost. Both options work for me.

Never become a finance influencer. It’s a business. They are in the business of making money. Deal with it. That cost can easily be offset against the interest you earn in that account by maintaining a decent balance. Exceed that and you will be net positive. Remember to pay yourself interest when you keep your money in your closet.

Looking at some of the replies on this post I came to the conclusion that some people just don’t want to learn. I booked a trip on Hyperli back in 2018 for 10 days traveling from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City for R7k for two people including B&B in 4 star hotels, all travel and excursions included from North to South. It was the best value for money trips I’ve ever done, until this day.
