@garethdjevans@Kirsty_Williams @wgmin_education And proof that staying with the curriculum policy direction was and remains the right thing. Culture change in education takes much longer than most politicians think. So, well done again @Kirsty_Williams @wgmin_education.

@LSRPlaid@IrishTimes The UK adopted the Hague Convention on protection of cultural property in times of armed conflict.
This should be the position we take with the US following Trump’s threat. https://t.co/X2FkTzLEiF
November: 16 and 17 year olds will be able to vote for the first time at the Welsh General Election in 2021, when Assembly Members voted in support of the biggest changes to the democratic process in Wales in half a century.

No. The NHS buying services is not the opposite of being sold.
It’s our NHS changing to a hollow shell, a purchaser, with private companies being the substantive provider.
Work purpose by the frontline NHS staff is then driven by company profit motives. That’s #privatisation.
Given the support there is for Trump amongst many US evangelicals, this highly critical editorial from @CTmagazine could potentially affect his chances of re-election.

"...to avoid Wales becoming the empty vessel, shorn of meaningful identity outside football, rugby & the Eisteddfod, we all need to kickstart that national conversation about our future." My thoughts in @WalesOnline on Wales & aftermath of #GE2019 https://t.co/51ZDXWcl8n

The EU member states should grant UK citizens living in Europe the full rights as they have today. Automatically. No ‘ifs and buts’ here either. Let's also come back to the idea of ‘European associated citizenship’ for UK citizens who want to keep their link with Europe.

@MarkJPPalmer The 1978 venue is wrong though. It was the Capitol cinema, which along with Sophia Gardens and the Top Rank, was the main rock concert venue in Cardiff. St David’s Hall only opened in ‘81, I think. (Trust a historian to nitpick)
@MarkJPPalmer I was!! Saw Rory Gallagher about 6 or 7 times in that era. Always guaranteed top quality guitar solos, each song with a big ending. He didn’t play quietly either...

This is the point never to forget: of votes cast, 53% were for Remain-supporting parties, 47% for Leave-supporting parties. FPTP gives big majority of seats in Parliament to the 47%. Brexit will happen against the will of the people; democracy in the (ex)-UK.
Congratulations to the PM – he has secured a majority across the UK.
But he must remember that the Conservatives are only the largest party in one of the 4 nations.
