I will soon delete this profile. I am instead using other, and better, social media platforms that don’t actively encourage hate, bigotry and misinformation on an industrial scale. Find all my links here: https://t.co/higwTDqtpK
@gingerdaveski That memory has always stuck with me. As you said, didn’t agree with a lot of what he said but he was a very personable guy and it was a fun evening.
@BobFromAccounts As a cyclist I hate getting stuck behind cars. It’s so dumb. They sit there in their own traffic and hold up everyone else. And usually there is only one person in each car. If only they could see how ridiculous it is.
@GregHands@JM_Afonso@APascuTulbure 🤦🏻♂️ Seriously, where have you been? There is already so much in the works with @TfL and @LBHF. But apparently you don’t seem to know about anything about it. It’s like you’re always on the back foot. And now possibly out the back door.
@GregHands@JM_Afonso@APascuTulbure@SandsEndResi Greg. Now you know this isn't true. As the MP you're supposed to support this area, not badmouth it constantly. I'm sure all the hardworking WBR businesses appreciate you lying to their customers that they are all in crisis. There is SO much on offer on this Rd. so stop the lies.
@GregHands Such a shame as our local MP you're not promoting the dozens of brilliant WBR businesses working hard to make this area better. In fact data shows that WBR has outperformed other high streets in the area, despite your cost of living crisis and your own efforts to run it down. 🤷🏻♂️
@GregHands Oh no Greg. You accidentally cropped out the new businesses either side of this! The new Accountancy Firm (that opened just this past spring) and a new restaurant opening this summer. Or what about all the other new businesses that have opened recently on WBR? No help for them?
@GregHands@JM_Afonso@APascuTulbure@SandsEndResi Now Greg, you know full well that those two shops have been closed since well before the pandemic. Or maybe you don't. And what about the 18 businesses that have opened on WBR since 2021 vs the 11 that closed, 6 of which have already been refilled? No mention of them?
@thepeterhunt Experience, experience, experience. No amount of drama school training or workshops can compare to being on a real set, in front of real cameras and crews with real pressure. That is where you learn. And will continue to learn on every single job for the rest of your life.
@NatalieDLindsay Interesting so many people, especially the people deeply in their #Motonormativity, are raging against the future. I wonder when they will realise they are on the wrong side of history…
@pryorandy Have been thinking of a more equitable system. If a production co. has hired a CD then the prod. co. should be paying any fees for listing the jobs. After all they are the ones funding the (literal) show. Actors (& CDs as you said) are often out of work and are themselves hired.
A great move. Productions are often less than “green”. As even a day-player do we really need planes or private cars adding to pollution & traffic? Once seen as a nice bonus they really are unnecessary.

Had a chat about this very topic with a friend yesterday. Yet their unconscious bias towards the car having priority above everyone else was deeply embedded. How can we help shift this emotional and visceral belief?
It’s Been 100 Years Since Cars Drove Pedestrians Off The Roads.
Facing shocking numbers of killed pedestrians in 1922, E.J.Mehren stated that “the obvious solution lies only in a radical revision of our conception of what a city street is for.”
