Please, everyone, note that when I have my next birthday - or any subsequent one - I wish to have exactly zero politicians of any political persuasion in attendance.

Thank you @NBN_Australia for your complete absence of service.
Which was working perfectly well until you performed some maintenance on Wednesday last. Since then, my service has been very poor and intermittent, culminating today in a complete and total failure.
@NBN_Australia As I mentioned, this disruption has the capacity to cause me physical harm. I am disabled, and you need to ensure that already flagged-as-urgent matter is, in fact, actually addressed in a matter that somewhat approaches urgent.
At this time it appears that nothing has happened.
@NBN_Australia No follow up?
You mess up the hardware, and then wander away, leaving your clients without a connection and potentially in danger of physical harm?
I believe that's called a failure of your duty of care.
@clarkes@NBN_Australia No such luck here with line of sight anything.
I'm on the ground floor, in the middle of an apartment block, surrounded by multi-storey apartment blocks.
4G/5G has improved over the years, but it's still not stellar.
And Trumbull's NBN is shit on a stick.
@NBN_Australia Provider already contacted and a fault has been lodged.
But you are avoiding mentioning the fact that the service only went belly-up immediately following your maintenance on Wednesday last. Two days ago.
This disappearance of my service can have serious repercussions due to
@clarkes@NBN_Australia That requires a secondary modem, and an account that you can pay for, to sit dormant for most of the time.
Not really a viable option.
And my iPad isn't allowing tethering for some reason, plus I live in a 4G/5G black hole.
iPad and phone work for many things, but not Alexa
As regards Wednesday's maintenance, I was truly excited to learn of this after you had started it.
But right now you have left me with no service, which means that some essential (to my health and well-being) services no longer function.
Again, thank you.
Angus Taylor and Barnaby Joyce conspired to make $80 million disappear, and the Australian Federal Police completely ignored this. It's bigger than any bank heist. We are swimming in the imaginary water. #auspol#NACC Politicians can't get in trouble.
