@AdamSinger Allowing “The struggle” is often the best part of good parenting. I view struggling as positive character building. Learning consequences is important. That being said, there comes a point where beginning to pass along wealth is also good parenting.
@shawngorham Honestly, this is needed in all of Southern California imho. TBD whether we see that happen. Definitely happening in many of these kinds of vacation rentals areas.
@shawngorham Built this about a year and a half ago. Tuff shed installed on a slab we had poured, then added the concrete patio in front afterwards. Overkill on the ductless HVAC, but whisper quiet for office work. All in around $23-25k
@WallStreetSilv Every generation has their challenges. Every generation has those that find solutions and those that play the blame game. There are virtually always solutions to a better life and success, it’s just a matter of whether you’re focused and willing to do what it takes.
@TLAMB91 In CA, 5% is fairly standard. Every area is different. You want whomever is going to help guide you to taking home the most profit. Sometimes paying a higher percentage can gain you more profit through expert advice and negotiation. Not always, but sometimes.
@realEstateTrent Reasonably low percentage sure. But when you take into consideration the high home prices, it’s the ninth highest yearly dollar amount based off the median price of homes.
@realEstateTrent A buyer who has a search set up for max of $700k may never see a home priced at $715k, but often these buyers have the ability to stretch a little further north if they love the home. Bring in more buyers, increase chance of bidding war to drive the price up.
@realEstateTrent Doesn’t make much sense in commercial imo, but in residential, we sometimes use it as a means of helping potential buyers “see” a listing they may have missed otherwise. For example, a home estimated valued at $715k, may have a range of $699-724k.
