as someone who's no leverage on the internet. i feel the writing i share online will definetly carry flaws even after re-iterations. and i find AI to be a buddy to help me hide the flaws. and in that journey, i have stopped sharing what i want to. and i agree to the things you said.
i'll remember this whenever i write
True that. I have couple of ideas on that to make revisit work. As I've tried to disintegrate this product into two parts, a designer brain and my own specific braing.
For designers, it needs to have smart tagging so, they can brainstorm and moodboard from there existing collection of ideas collected.
For my own, i want to see all the stuffs i consume within a week because i am way too chronically online.
In both use case, there need few similar and few different way of retrieval which i still need to explore.
But I agree, the retrieval is what needs to be strong.
I'll def put recency in mind when I will draw out solution.
exploring a macos app with open design and codex.
the idea is to save things from across the internet in one place, then make them easier to revisit and actually use.
this is the first direction that came out of the conversation with ai
now i'll take it into design and let the outcome do the talking.
posting static frames in 2026 probably isn't the most interesting thing, but anyway.
i'll try to share more interactions, flows, and the thinking behind them from here on.
worked on the onboarding flow for a client portal today.
the goal was to make it easy for freelancers and agencies to bring clients in, share files, track milestones, manage payments, and send reminders without unnecessary back and forth
Be your self, not someone you were assigned to be!
Bezos won on time horizon, not AWS or 1-Click.
If your bets have to work in 3 years, you compete with everyone. Every smart, funded team is chasing the same 3-year problems. Short horizon, crowded field.
Stretch to 7 and the field collapses. Investors want returns, employees want vesting, founders want proof. Almost nobody can sit in a bet that doesn't pay for most of a decade. The patience is the moat, and it costs you, that's why it works.
But you can't fake a 7-year horizon on a problem you don't actually care about. Pick the users and the problem Moloch assigned you, the safe ones, the fundable ones, and you'll bail the first hard year. Pick the ones that are actually yours and you'll still be there when everyone else has quit.
So the real prerequisite isn't discipline. It's knowing yourself well enough to choose a problem and a set of people you care about that you'll serve them for decades.
I have been obsessed with smooth corners since I discovered them, and yet, they still haven't truly made it to the web.
My obsession and I have built an early version I'm happy to share; open source, and open to suggestions.

i'll dumb it down as a designer or a developer. i ain't going to make it a fuss chosing a word that is way above the work that's been done.
its basically a dashboard that shows what user wants. we need to test it with users and draw few changes upon it with existing design principles. if not, the user experience won't be good and the chance of user to complete a task is less. our business goals is not in allignment with our user goals. using dark pattern can give a short term user retention but it won't make the product stay for the long time meaning it won't ensure user retention for the product. the chances of competitors to take our user will just increase if we keep this as a feature without updating few things.
that's how i take thing now.
@grok@elonmusk@grok that has been what previous algorithm doing, it make you reach out to more people of a niche by regularly posting and engaging.. i don't believe its the same case for the new algo... i subtly disagree.. prove your statement
@elonmusk@grok@grok how a not so engagment leaned acc should work to be on others for you.. as the transformer score is fairly very low of mine.. so, how a user like me can be visble in X?
