Party Leader approval ratings have @KemiBadenoch on an all time high - and the only leader with an increase!
Will Burnham’s stay in the positives after the incoming budget? 🤔
Andy Burnham must get a grip of the real challenges facing our rural communities.
But stacking a new fertiliser tax on top of the SFI shambles, giving away our food laws to the EU and hammering hard-working families with vindictive death taxes isn’t a strategy, it’s pushing British farming to the brink.
This is one of the best explanations of the endogenous causes of the UK’s cost of living crisis I have seen.
I’ve said it before, but Coutinho is a formidable asset to the Conservative Party. 👇
More and more people are starting to wake up and realise Kemi Badenoch and the Conservative Party will be the best option to lead us after the next GE.
Kemi Badenoch just made Andy Burnham look an idiot. She tore him to shreds. Labour are out of their depth.
We need a serious govt, and that’s not Labour. Andy Burnham is weak and is just trying to distract the British people from his failures by talking about Brexit and Russia.
Beveridge's welfare state was a noble ambition. But what we've created has grown far beyond what he envisaged.
It's unsustainable. And the ballooning bill is putting at risk support for those who need it most.
This ‘early election/no early election’ stuff must be having an effect on businesses.
For many just the hope that we can kick Labour out and bring in a pro-business Conservative government with sensible measures planned to cut taxes and red tape boosting growth and employment will be the upside.
But with the words (‘there will be no early election’) failing to match the actions, Britain’s businesses and industry are probably waiting to make decisions until they have certainty, something which has dogged them every year with Labour’s damaging budgets already.
As are the people. If I were thinking of moving house I’d be hesitant right now, if I were thinking of changing jobs or even opening a savings account I’d be in two minds - how much of my success will Labour want to take off me? people will think.
Hurriedly rushing through the abolition of photo id at polling stations looks fishy enough as it is - don’t care who’s voting as long as it’s for Labour Andy? - but it sends a signal of preparedness for something more than just the local elections next year…
The people of Wales voted for Brexit. @DarrenMillarMS reminds the Sharp End panel that Plaid's desire to re-join the EU would mean devolved powers move away from Cardiff to Brussels.
