On ITV tonight the EA said they haven’t got water in the area around Northmoor So they have time to put the pumps in I was interviewed on the same program with over 4 ft off water behind me over all my land !!!EA are you having a laugh 😡😡😡😡
Water still rising. This field was dry this morning. Even with a dry day - catchment water is still hitting the moors. We could do with the additional pumps at Northmoor online asap. @EnvAgencySW@dredgetherivers
I’ve been out with teams in Saltmoor, Northmoor and Bradney Depot today impressed as ever with their professionalism in deploying our enhanced pumping capability.
The @EnvAgencySW are cracking on getting the additional pumping online! Big thanks to the team in the ground working into the night at Salt Moor #somersetfloods#pumping
Everyone below 8.8 meters above sea level pays a drainage rate but it should be the other way around every body above 8.8 meters should pay because we have to put up with your water before it goes out to sea + we protect towns and we get NO compensation for the loss of crops
👋🏻 I’m back!!!
We are all struggling with water at the moment and not just here in Somerset, please could we have prompt action locally! Centralising EA is not helping and we need local comms, pumps and paperwork being signed NOW not in 10days! @EnvAgencySW@SRAnews@IDBsomerset
