@ErChilvers Structures in place, and honestly, it's the best thing to have happened. So I would say, is it the job that's not right for you or the school? Because there's no shame in either. There's a reason you became a teacher, don't forget it. Keep your head up because you can do it.

@ErChilvers I felt exactly the same at this point last year (my first ect year), I was left with little to no support and my class was all but taken away from me due to the decisions of leadership. However, I'm stubborn and I'm in a new year group this year, there's also new leadership 1/2

@hfy3teach @MrTs_NQTs Have you tried him with a wobble cushion? It's not a solve all solution but may help with the moving about. I had a boy in my class last year who rocked on his chair constantly as a self-soothing tactic and it worked wonders for him!
