Whatever projects you have, add an element of AI to it but NOT a chat bot. This is key.
Use an API, send some data, real time translation for a video app, or smart data-filtering for a dashboard.
Companies don't need devs who can wrap an API in a chat UI. They need devs who can weave intelligence into actual workflows. I literally see people winning entire interviews because of it.
