An ALS vehicle which was moving as part of a convoy from Leh to Nyoma, skidded into the valley at approximately 5:45-6:00 PM, 7 Km short of Kiari. There were 10 personnel travelling in the vehicle out of which nine died and one got injured. The injured personnel have been shifted to the hospital : Indian Army

सच्ची घटना है....!!

एक शहीद आर्मी कैप्टन की पत्नी का दर्द 💔

चार साल पहले मयंक मेरे जीवन मे सुबह की पहली किरण की तरह आये। वो मेरी एक सहकर्मी के "फौजी कजिन" थे, और पहली ही मुलाक़ात में उन्होंने मुझसे कहा, एक दिन तुम Mrs Vishnoi बनोगी.... मैंने बात हँसी में टाल दी।

पर मयंक सीरियस थे। उसके बाद जब भी मिलते, वो मुझे Mrs Vishnoi ही बुलाते थे। मैं हालांकि यही कहती - तुम पागल हो... पर मैं उसकी तरफ खींची चली जा रही थी।

हम रोज़ाना, रात भर फोन पे बतियाते थे। मयंक उन दिनों इन्फेंट्री में कैप्टन थे और देहरादून में पोस्टेड थे। मैं दिल्ली में थी। वो हर शनिवार मुझसे मिलने दिल्ली आते। सिर्फ़ दो घंटे की मुलाक़ात के लिये 10 घंटे ड्राइव करते। मयंक के साथ रहना किसी स्वप्नलोक में विचरने जैसा था। कभी अचानक मेरे बर्थडे पर सरप्राइज देना तो कभी अचानक - चल नेपाल चलें। He was the king of Grand Gestures.....

पर मयंक के साथ जुड़े रहना इतना आसान भी न था। ऐसी-ऐसी जगह ड्यूटी लग जाती जहां नेटवर्क न होता तो महीनों मुलाक़ात तो क्या बात तक न हो पाती।

एक दिन मैंने उन्हें सरप्राइज दिया। उनसे मिले दो महीने हो चुके थे। उस दिन उनका Birthday भी था। मुझे देखते ही उन्होने गले लगा लिया - बोले, तुम्हें देख लिया, बर्थडे बन गया। और फिर मेरे बर्थडे वाले दिन, सभी दोस्तों और परिवार के सामने, घुटनों पर बैठ के उंन्होने मुझे प्रपोज किया, “Mrs Vishnoi शादी करले....” और फिर चट मँगनी पट ब्याह हुआ और मैं Mrs Vishnoi बन गयी......

मुझे याद है, पंडित जी विवाह के मंत्र पढ़ रहे थे और हम फेरे ले रहे थे, तो मयंक के संकल्प निराले ही थे..... राष्ट्र प्रथम..... एक समय ऐसा भी आ सकता है जब शायद मैं लौट के न आऊं, या तिरंगे में लिपट के आऊं...... तुम एक फौजी पत्नी हो, ये हमेशा याद रखना.... जब वो ऐसी बातें करते, मैं परेशान हो जाती।

मुझे पता था मैंने किस दुनिया मे कदम रखा है। मयंक के साथ जीवन बेहद आनंददायक था। मैं उसके साथ उसकी पोस्टिंग पर गयी। हमने अपनी छोटी सी गृहस्थी बसाई। एक साल बाद वो मेजर बन गए और उनकी पोस्टिंग काश्मीर में शोपियाँ में हो गयी। ये आतंक का गढ़ था। मैं हमेशा परेशान रहती। न्यूज देखने से तो हमेशा दूर ही रहती।

मयंक मेरा ध्यान रखते। मौका निकाल के बर्थडे और सालगिरह पर भी आते। शादी को बेशक़ 4 साल हो चले थे, पर बॉर्डर पर जाते पति को गुड बाय बोलना आसान नहीं होता।

एक बार छुट्टी आये। जाने लगे तो बोले, Lets make a Family... I wanna be a Dad.... फिर उसके बाद कभी नहीं आये। सिर्फ़ उनकी ख़बर आई। “Sir के सिर में गोली लगी है.....” मेरी तो दुनिया ही उजड़ गयी। ये कैसे हो सकता है.... आज सुबह ही तो बात हुई थी....

मैं भागी-भागी श्रीनगर पहुंची.... वो कोमा में थे...
उन्हें देख मैं टूट गयी... डॉक्टर ने बताया, "He's Brain Dead..." मैं उनसे बातें करती..... मुझे लगता ये शायद मेरे लिये ही लौट आएं..... जीवन मृत्यु का यह संघर्ष 15 दिन चला। अंत में मैंने उनसे कहा, I Love you and I'm proud of You...... Please Rest now..... और मयंक चले गए..... उनके अंतिम संस्कार में उनकी पूरी बटालियन शामिल हुई। अदम्य साहस और शौर्य के लिये उन्हें सेना मेडल मिला ।

आज उन्हें गये दो महीने हो गये। पर मुझे अब भी नहीं लगता कि वो चले गये, हमेशा के लिये । मुझे लगता है एक और पोस्टिंग हुई है.... मैं उनकी यादें संजोती हूँ। उनके करीब रहने की कोशिश करती हूँ। कभी उनकी घड़ी पहन के तो कभी उनकी वर्दी पहन के सोती हूँ..... उससे उनकी खुशबू आती है । मुझे लगता है उनसे लिपट के सोई हूँ....

अब मैं उनकी मृत्यु का शोक नही करती। मुझे उनपे गर्व होता है। मैंने उनसे सीखा कि अपने देश से और किसी व्यक्ति से टूट के प्यार कैसे किया जाता है...... Unconditional Love...
