@filipecabaco I mean --fixup is exactly that, a fixup of the referenced commit. It just defers rewriting history. Which is also useful to revert accidental mess-up without having to use reflog.
@urbangenite I wouldn't overthink it. Just pick a relatively small one that seems interesting and go for it. Local timelines get too noisy and overwhelming on bigger instances imo, and you can follow people on pretty much any instance anyway. You can always move your account or have multiple.
@thramosal@vrcca@filipecabaco@philipptessenow@thramosal for https://t.co/msuzPmw1Li just fill in the invite request form, they will not take long to approve your account. For https://t.co/gkJMDSg9zR, I think they have put some invite quota now, due to so many people coming in. I can't find my invites page anymore... @vrcca?
So, I guess I'm back on mastodon now. If you're riding the twitter alternatives wave (or thinking about it), come find me at https://t.co/i91pe2uMUD 👋🐘
@PragTob@joinmastodon I tried logging into Mastodon after 3 years, and it seems that https://t.co/dem1gJSma7 is under the load of the entire tech twittersphere who suddenly also remembered of its existence. Might be a good thing to throw some money on instead of Twitter Blue.
@stefanisg Nice one! I got a retrotink 2X-mini for the N64, and it's been mostly OK. But the delay can sometimes still be noticed. Wasn't ready to invest over 100GBP though 😅
@frank_k_p Honestly, at least a year. By that time, most critical patches are out (by apple and app developers), and someone else on the Internet has probably already solved whatever problem I may encounter.
