Kroger CEO Greg Foran is the latest inductee into the Teamsters CEO Hall of Shame. A former Walmart executive, Foran has made it his mission to harm and undermine good-paying, middle-class union jobs at Kroger.
After former CEO Rodney McMullen resigned in disgrace amid personal misconduct allegations, Foran received an $18.5 million compensation package. His deal includes up to $200,000 per year for personal use of Kroger’s corporate jet and $250,000 annually for “personal housing expenses and financial planning services.”
The Teamsters represent thousands of workers at Kroger and its third-party partners nationwide. Any attempt to harm and replace Teamsters jobs with low-wage, nonunion workers — including contractors used by Walmart — will be met with serious resistance. The Teamsters will use every legal, contractual, and economic tool available to defend our members and protect our jobs from this anti-union corporate agenda.
Over the course of a lifetime, we face only a few moments where the decisions we make and the actions we take will shape our history for years to come. This is one of them.
A nearly 50 point win and the largest overperformance of an open seat in the country this year.
Gary Clemons crushed it and made history as the first union leader ever elected to Kentucky's General Assembly. Last night was a good night to be a Kentucky Democrat.
Donald Trump and Congressional Republicans are raising the price of health insurance premiums by more than double – an average of 136% this year.

🚨BREAKING: Hakeem Jeffries just nailed it: "Dems didn't put the Jeffrey Epstein thing into the public domain. This was a conspiracy that Trump, Bondi, and MAGA extremists have been fanning the flames for the last several years. And now the chickens are coming home to roost."
Reporter: What’s going on with those posts on X that are clearly trolling the president?
Newsom: I hope it’s a wake up call for the president. I’m just following his example. If you have issues with what I’m putting out, you sure as hell should have concerns with what he’s putting out
I think the deeper question how have we allowed the normalization of his posts to go without similar scrutiny
I know most of my friends have already jumped ship from this sinking vessel of pulchritude, but my bluesky name is geekjames, of course. I'll be fleeing here soon. Goodbye, @elonmusk, you're a dickwad and a worldwide threat.

Pete Buttigieg on Meet the Press: "Donald Trump and JD Vance cannot afford for this campaign to be about things like how Donald Trump eliminated the right to choose ... they need to get us talking about something else. The crazier, the better."
Vance: “You’re acting like Donald Trump filmed a TV commercial at a gravesite. He was there providing emotional support to brave Americans who lost loved ones and there happened to be a camera there.”
HE FILMED A TV COMMERCIAL AT A GRAVESITE.

I'm a registered Democrat in Texas. After seeing several other posts, I checked my registration. I'm "suspended." It says I can still vote if I update my information (it's already correct) but this has never happened in my 20 years of voting in Texas. Check your registration.
Age by 2032:
John Roberts: 77
Samuel Alito: 82
Clarence Thomas: 84
Harris needs to replace two of them to flip the Supreme Court. Hillary told you what was at stake in 2016 and you called her hysterical. She's been proven right beyond horror.
This is your chance at redemption.
