On 7 August 2026, Security Forces conducted an intelligence based operation in Hangu District, on reported presence of Khwarij belonging to Indian Proxy, Fitna Al Khwarij.
During the conduct of operation, own troops effectively engaged khwarij location. In desperation, Khwarij took refuge inside a mosque, blatantly disregarding the sanctity of the place of worship. In ensuing fire exchange, seven khwarij, belonging to Indian-sponsored Fitna Al Khwarij were sent to hell.
However, during the intense fire exchange, Captain Hamza Akram (age: 27 years, resident of District Narowal), a brave officer, who was leading his troops from front and relentlessly pursuing the Khwarij, fought gallantly, paid the ultimate sacrifice and embraced shahadat.
Weapons and ammunition were also recovered from the killed khwarij, who remained actively involved in numerous terrorist activities against the Security Forces and Law Enforcement Agencies as well as killing of innocent civilians.
Sanitization operation is being conducted to eliminate any other Indian sponsored Kharji found in the area, as the relentless Counter Terrorism campaign under vision “Azm-e-Istehkam” (as approved by the Federal Apex Committee on National Action Plan) by Security Forces and Law Enforcement Agencies of Pakistan will continue at full pace to wipe out the menace of foreign-sponsored and supported terrorism from the country and such sacrifices of our brave soldiers further reinforce our unwavering commitment of safeguarding our nation at all costs.

Honoured to sign the Makkah Joint Defence Agreement alongside my dear brothers, HRH Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and H.E. President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
Three brotherly nations, united by faith, friendship and a shared resolve for peace and security.
May this historic pact, signed in the shadow of the Haramain, remain a shield of peace for generations to come and may it bring prosperity for our three brotherly countries as well as for the Ummah.
I would especially like to express my deep appreciation for Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir whose untiring efforts and utmost dedication contributed immensely towards this great cause.
As India’s unilateral and illegal actions of 5 August 2019 in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) complete seven years, no amount of rhetoric can alter the internationally recognized disputed status of Jammu and Kashmir or deny the rights of its people enshrined in international law and the relevant UN Security Council resolutions.
The reality in IIOJK remains that a prolonged heavy military presence and draconian laws are enabling India to pursue its demographic engineering aimed at altering the territory’s Muslim-majority status, alongside systematic efforts to silence the Kashmiri people and obliterate their identity.
Hollow and unsubstantiated claims of development cannot substitute the inalienable right of the people of Jammu and Kashmir to determine their own future through a free and impartial plebiscite, as mandated by the United Nations.
Pakistan reiterates its unwavering support for the just struggle of the Kashmiri people and calls on India to reverse its illegal measures, end its human rights violations, and create conditions conducive to a peaceful resolution of the Jammu and Kashmir dispute in accordance with the UN Charter, the relevant Security Council resolutions, and the aspirations of the Kashmiri people.
