New Stanford study on how much leaders communicate & the impact it creates. 4 key conclusions:
1) Leaders are nearly 10X as likely to be criticised by their teams for under-communicating than for over-communicating
2) Leaders who under-communicate are seen as having less empathy & less leadership ability by their teams
3) Leaders are judged much more harshly by their teams for under-communicating than for over-communicating
4) Leaders should adjust their communication patterns by communicating more, even if it leads to the (relatively minor) risk of being seen as communicating too much:

We often see the "J curve" in change. We expect the change to lead to quick benefits, but things may get worse before they get better. This can lead to "leadership tinkering" where leaders don't allow time for benefits to kick in but start changing more things. Pic: @tom_geraghty

Special thanks @CanBorder employees for streamlining their arrival.

we have vaccines that can reduce the risk of being in ICU by ~95%. but i am the most concerned i have ever been. too much division. politics cannot pull apart the policies we need. we had our best response when all levels of government were working together/getting behind science
We had a student a few years ago & after discussing some common patient safety/ technology related barriers, she proposed 3 solutions using apps I'd never even heard of. We must ensure our youth have a platform & help to develop our future healthcare systems
