It's a year since Jack O'Sullivan, 23, was last seen in Bristol and we've issued a renewed appeal.
In it, ACC Joanne Hall said: "You may recall seeing something which, on the surface, seemed unimportant, but may be important for us to know."
Full appeal: https://t.co/eixmGJxs4e
Unfortunately the expertly conducted searches failed to find Jack’s phone and nearly a year on leads are drying up. We desperately need new information, his loving family will never give up hope.
A desperate and plaintive plea for help from Jack’s devastated and devoted mum.
Someone MUST know something, please share and spend some time recalling if you could hold the missing piece of the puzzle.
After months of anticipation and uncertainty due to the MAB, I am so pleased to share that today I have been awarded a first (75%) on my undergraduate dissertation!
Thank you to my supervisor @llantwit for your guidance & support. Proud of myself and proud of this project 😊💛
I am so proud of my daughter and I stand with her and all the other students who have been let down. Let’s keep talking. Change starts with a conversation. A handshake is not good enough. My article @thetimes @UCEA1 @ucu#mediate

Yesterday I graduated from @cardiffuni with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism, Media and English Literature. Unfortunately, due to ongoing strikes and the UCU’s marking and assessment boycott, my degree is currently unclassified. 🧵
Why isn’t the university marking boycott getting more news coverage? Up to 1 in 3 final year students are currently learning they won’t graduate with a grade because of the pay dispute. My daughter - along with many others - has been offered £500 as compensation. After spending £27,750 on course fees, and countless hours and stress doing a dissertation that she was proud of, but has now been told may never be marked. This is outrageous. Quite rightly, students are saying they will tear up their unclassified degrees, because this is offensive. These are the kids who didn’t get to do A levels, because of COVID. They are being let down horrendously. I believe we need to do more to stand up and say this situation is unacceptable. Disputes happen. The grown ups should sort it out and do the right thing by these students now #standwithstudents
They vastly underestimate how fed up our students are. Excellent @guardian piece by @KimiChaddah_ !

"They don’t care where the marks come from...they just want them in the spreadsheet as long as they vaguely appear to be correct.”

Do students want their work marked by people who know nothing about the topic?
Universities, up and down the country, are trashing standards & devaluing student degrees, rather than negotiating.
This is absolutely shocking behaviour.👇🤬
I’ve submitted my undergraduate dissertation! Whilst challenging at times, this has been such an interesting and rewarding experience. A huge thank you to everyone who participated in my research, and to my supervisor @llantwit for your guidance and support
I have recently redesigned my website, creating my own online journalism portfolio. I can’t wait to continue to update this site as I publish more articles / blog posts and gain more journalistic experience.

Even if the words ARE getting trickier, you’re getting more out of the game that way. We chose to do these things not because they were easy; because they were hard. JFK said that. Not directly about Wordle but it’s implied.
