I have severe concerns about the incoming Coalition in Southwark and whether it will focus on community safety and housing needs. I suspect it’ll McCrash and burn. Time will tell.
@Tpopularfront@coyleneil This is a really disgusting comment. Neil doesn’t have to explain himself to you, but I’m happy to confirm this is in fact just what he thinks. No booze involved.
Exclusive: The UK Statistics Authority has rapped Kemi Badenoch over claims she made at PMQs last month about the number of people claiming Universal Credit.
Asked to comment, a spokesman for Badenoch replied with a “yawning” emoji.

Southwark Council has a great record on house building and Labour members here are proud of what our Labour council has delivered over the last few years.
Also, give it a rest lads.
@parr_craig61423 Because, like the rest of central London, there is historic underinvestment in building homes and a lot of people who want to live here, but Southwark Labour is doing as much as they can to fix it.
I think you may have misunderstood the proposed development.
NEW: Yvette Cooper issued a stern warning to Labour MPs over briefing wars at this evening's PLP
She told MPs they will be "serious debates" after Labour's local election losses, but added: "But I would also say, based on nearly 30 years in Parliament, that the way in which we debate matters.
“When it is being reported that ‘the things Labour people are saying about each other are unprintable’, I would just say, frankly, I don't care who you are in our party, and what you think the answer is for the future, we treat each other with respect. And above all we show respect to people across the country who rely on us to keep focusing on the things that matter most to them."
Our Labour Government is helping people in Southwark & across the country but we don't always communicate effectively.
Foodbank use has dropped under this Labour Government, reversing one of the worst Tory/ LibDem legacies; they allowed poverty to soar. We are fixing their mess

Zack Polanski has admitted he did not vote in last week’s local elections
The Green Party leader had previously indicated through a spokesman that he had cast a postal vote in Hackney before spending polling day in Wales, and had publicly told the east London borough’s mayoral candidate: “You have my vote”
However, after inquiries by The Times, the party confirmed on Thursday that he had in fact not registered to vote in the elections because of fears for his safety
Polanski had pledged his support to Zoë Garbett, the Green candidate for Hackney mayor, telling her “you have my vote” in a campaign video released on May 3
“One consequence of the heightened intrusion and safety risk he faces was that Zack did not register to vote in the most recent local elections,” a spokesman said
The party said Polanski had faced “extreme and distressing press intrusion” since becoming leader, including “antisemitic cartoons” and journalists “doorstepping family members”, and was now in discussions with police and local authorities about registering anonymously

I'll tell you what, Josh Simons has been on a hell of a political journey:
* Worked for Jeremy Corbyn
* Was Director of Labour Together (the think tank which backed Keir Starmer)
* Resigned his seat for Andy Burnham
