@RayAlexWilliams You made a mistake when you wrote 'alter their appearance to be seen as a woman by society'. The overwhelming majority will never be seen as women and their presence in female spaces is unwelcome. The 'transition' serves only the person 'transitioning'.
@Missmbl2812 It's ironic that you think 'transgender people (are) being reduced to grotesque stereotypes' when in reality 'trans' people are reducing men and particularly women to gross stereotypes and claiming that, by adopting those stereotypes, that they themselves become men or women.
@XXMetalDisaster@Mycroft_Smart1 Correct. There are different opinions on this particular issue amongst those of us who don't want men using female only facilities.
@SailorJDove It is not the right of a male to enter spaces that are reserved solely for females or to play on the girls sports team simply because he likes wearing dresses and called himself Jane.
@newscomauHQ Look at the state of some of these kids with their rainbow hair and trans flags. I doubt if they even know what they're protesting against.
@Steve_Lawson93 Women who believe themselves to actually be men are welcome to play in women's sports - because they are women.
However, taking performance enhancing drugs (eg testosterone) is not permitted.
It's very simple.
@PompeySteph@jk_rowling It's hilarious when the men in dresses claim that it's those who don't believe that they are real women are the ones in a cult!
@SmasheCapital@Missmbl2812 Adherence to feminine stereotypes does not make someone a girl or a woman. Feminine men are men, even those who feminise so drastically that they may sometimes be mistaken to be female.
@SmasheCapital@Missmbl2812 You're actually suggesting that adherence to feminine stereotypes is what determines if someone is a boy or a girl! You've confirmed what I have always known, but TRAs always deny, that gender ideology is rooted in stereotypes. Kids lives are being ruined over this nonsense!
@StrewthQueen Your mistake is in thinking that you have to look a certain way to be treated how you think you want to be treated or to perform certain societal roles.
A reminder that yesterday, today, tomorrow and always: trans women are women and trans men are men.
Proud to represent a Borough that recognises that protecting women doesn't need to come at the expense of trans people's safety and dignity.
@Qveen_Potato There's nothing of any relevance in that 'PSA' and nothing to prove transgenderism isn't a mental illness or that trans people aren't deluded.
@CaraPac46808618@jk_rowling If you could define 'woman' in a non-circular way you'd have a starting point, but you can't.
Trans woman, where trans is an adjective, is completely meaningless.
