What a fantastic 🥂🥳way to wrap up the #MHDay2024!
It was epic last Sunday at the Colors and Brushes Post-Menstrual Hygiene Fest in Mbale. Period talks and art blended with music. Young people gave their best, not only creatively sharing messages and experiences but also calling for action against period poverty through art and painting.
The session was joined by the Mbale district principal district community development officer, who also doubles as the Chairperson of the Technical Working Group, @powertoyouthug, local radio presenters, Mbale’s top gospel artist, Suzan Wetsetse, Mbale’s finest female MC Liz - the Hype Mama and a renown fashionista, @kilembaqueen, among tens of other young people
