We were honored to welcome @IndianConsOsaka Mr. Chandru Appar to Kyoto University who inaugurated Intelligent ChemBioInformatics (IN-CBI).
A highly motivating visit highlighting the positive impact of scientifically informed leadership for academia in the Osaka–Kyoto region.
Consul General @chandruappar visited the Institute for integrated cell-material sciences (iCeMS) and interacted with Prof. Namasivayam Ganesh Pandian, Head of Intelligent ChemBioInformatics (IN-CBI), and his team at Kyoto University. IN-CBI Laboratory is joint collaboration between Kyoto University and IIT Rourkee.
Consul General engaged in discussions, raising key questions on gaps that could be addressed through collaboration with Indian institutions, and expressed his support for advancing research partnerships.
Thrilled to share our new @J_A_C_S paper! Arvenin I, a plant natural product, emerges as (to the best of our knowledge) the first-ever covalent kinase activator. 🧬 Check it out! #chemicalbiology#NaturalProducts#KinaseActivator https://t.co/Ff7xx25jJ0

Do you know iCeMS has its own internship for international students? This summer we welcomed four students from 🇵🇭🇨🇦🇺🇸. They gave great research presentations and enjoyed an excursion to Shimogamo-Shrine. Apply it next year if you want to enjoy interdisciplinary science. Fusion!!
Join us for the exciting talk on structure, function and reactivity guided molecular designs towards next generation bio sensing and synthetic biology platforms by @IzguLab
One of the missions of iCeMS is to incubate a future science leader. Today we are happy to launch @N_Nakazawa_Re as a new PI at @kinkidaigakuPR . Our PIs celebrated his new journey. Congratulations!!
Happy International Women’s Day #IWD2022!! At iCeMS a lot of great women from all over the world contribute to science as professors, researchers, students and supporting staff. We welcome more female scientists. Let’s enjoy science together with us!!
