Music is a part of my core but this, sounds different- a good kind of different. The simple lyrics translated have a solid meaning and the ‘Luo’ orchestra makes it even more enchanting 🥰🥰- @nickopiyo you may love this too.

🇺 WANGADYA: “MY RESIGNATION WAS REJECTED”

Before COSASE, Uganda Human Rights Commission Chairperson Mariam Fauzat Wangadya was asked to clarify her status following reports that she had resigned.

Wangadya told the Committee that she had written to President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni resigning, but said the resignation was rejected and that she remains the substantive Chairperson of the Commission.

@ugandacanberra @mulekezi @mulekezi You've served us well. Wishing you continued success, and may your remarkable legacy one day bring you home (read Canberra) as Uganda's High Commissioner. Asante

@S_Kahumuza The opp hasn’t failed in a neutral arena. They operate in a deliberately constrained one.NRM civic space means challengers are never allowed to test, refine, or popularise alternatives at scale. De system ensures challengers are always explaining themselves, never fully competing

@skaheru @cecild84 @Smith_JeffreyT @robertamsterdam There were seven other candidates in that race.
Oba Bobi asiibika kiwani? Then let’s talk about Gen. Muntu n co and how their own #Politricks delivered them win 🤷‍♂️🙄

@kyamageroandrew @BalaamBarugahar The Minister’s words reflect a misplaced understanding of accountability, proportionality, and democratic governance.
If we are to grow as a cntry, there must be consequences for such satirical remarks made by a Minister on a national broadcaster. @TonyNatif

@TonyNatif @AsiimweDicta @UgandaEC What is the role of the Electoral Commission on nomination day? I also note that you said they let a lot of things slide. Honestly, some of these officials should be joining Eddie Mutwe in the coolers! Sori let me rephrase that 😅
What do we do about incompetent public servants?

[Geo.Billy @Geo2Billy]

@BrianMulondo @933kfm Thank you 😊

[Geo.Billy @Geo2Billy]

@TonyNatif Did NUP ever rally the masses to scream that EPS was unfair? The answer is NO. 🤔 So why don’t we see the same citizen outrage for Lubowa, Dei, Atiak, and others? Why is it left to just 57 mps in a country where 56% of 45 million people are over 18?

[Geo.Billy @Geo2Billy]

@TonyNatif This does not answer your qn explicitly...the opposition's alternative budget 25/25 proposal on healthcare - a screenshot.

@TonyNatif @thelegalchristn I think it's the 737 you were looking for by the (again) reference

[Geo.Billy @Geo2Billy]

@SimonKaggwaNjal This scream of “people power” over halting EPS is fake!it’s pocket power. EPS touched people’s direct money, so the outrage was loud. But shady coffee deals, Lubowa scams & MP loot? Silence. If it ain’t cutting your 600k, we move on. Let’s be honest.

[Geo.Billy @Geo2Billy]

@TonyNatif @JoelSsenyonyi He's done the little he can do (read smoke and mirror games), let all others do the little they can!!!! Such is not a bad approach if you ask me 🤔
