From SEO to GEO: How brands can win the next stage of global growth
AI is changing how customers discover, evaluate, and choose brands.
On 11 September, Our Founder Andy Guo will be joining @airwallex to discuss how overseas brands can adapt to this shift — from understanding AI search intent to improving visibility, citations, and recommendations across platforms like ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity.
We’ll cover:
What AI search is changing
How to move from “being seen” to “being recommended”
How brands should measure GEO ROI
Who should own GEO internally
📅 11 September, 7:00 PM
Looking forward to the conversation with Kathy Shi from @airwallex .

We're glad to share that https://t.co/lUVpi9fLiB has been named an OpenAI Select Partner, joining the OpenAI Partner Network.
https://t.co/lUVpi9fLiB works on GEO and AI marketing: helping brands see, and improve, how they are represented inside AI answers. Most of that work still happens in the dark. Teams publish, they hope, and they have no real idea whether ChatGPT, Gemini, Google AIO, Google AI mode, Perplexity, DeepSeek, Doubao, Yuanbao or Qwen actually mention them, in what position, or in what tone. So we built our own monitoring platform across nine engines, and we run it as a managed service — the point being that "are we visible to AI?" becomes a number instead of an opinion.
As part of the OpenAI Partner Network, we look forward to continuing our work with OpenAI to help organizations build, deploy, and scale AI solutions responsibly and effectively. We're proud to be part of this next chapter.

@boringmarketer perplexity pages ranking on google is the loop closing. ai content feeds the next ai answer, and brands making none are missing from both layers.
@ConnorGillivan the 40% reddit number reframes everything. you're not just optimizing your site, you're trying to be the answer inside sources the model already trusts.
@boringmarketer 'be a citation' is the whole game. the catch is knowing which questions you're already cited for vs missing, which is exactly what we watch.
@bloggersarvesh the local angle is underrated. 'best service near me' is an llm question now, and most local shops have no idea they're invisible in it.
@seema_amble@a16z@zachcohen25 the missing piece of the thesis is measurement. page rank had a tooling industry. most people doing geo are flying blind on citations.
@rauchg@vercel wild stat. the scary version for everyone else: chatgpt already decides your signups and most teams have no idea which answers they're in.
@aigleeson llms.txt gets you crawlable, not cited. in https://t.co/OkbJPp45iD we see tons of sites do everything right and still never show up in the answer.
@denohawari right starting move. the step most people skip: after you write for those messy questions, actually go back and check if you got cited, because llms are weirdly inconsistent about who they pull in. we watch that loop in geolix and it's rarely 1:1.
@ConnorGillivan 'they don't rank, they cite' is the line every founder needs to sit with. ranking is a position you can hold, citation is a fresh yes/no on every single answer. much harsher scoreboard.
If your brand only exists on your own website, AI may not have much to cite.
But if your own website is thin, vague, or too salesy, AI may also skip it and cite Reddit, LinkedIn, Wikipedia, or some random third-party page instead.
The uncomfortable part is that your brand story might be shaped more by outside discussions than by your homepage.
In Jan–Feb 2026, we analyzed 325K unique prompts across ChatGPT Search, Google AI Mode, and Perplexity.
Every search platform has signals that determine who gets surfaced.
For AI search, one of the strongest signals is trust.
