@uniquemoviemom Very poor representation of the Battle of the Bulge. They couldn’t even get the weather conditions correct! A shame they wasted some great actors on a mediocre film!
@KatieMiller It is incorrect for Australia. You don’t need ID to vote. I’ve voted for 50 years and never shown an ID. Just name and address and confirm you haven’t voted previously!
@theepicmap Greek language is not Slavic. It’s an ancient language and alphabet (the word’s from the Greek letters alpha and beta) and forms the basis of many words in the Latin and English languages. Indeed the Slavic alphabet was developed by two Greek monks, Cyril and Methodius.
@Basileus_Phokas Quite controversial! I believe it’s better to have a minimalist restoration as being done to the Parthenon rather than a recreation of what it looked like 2500 years ago. I marvel at the architecture and construction methods in use at that time not some modern technology!
@Basileus_Phokas According to the Australian Census there are about 500,000 people in Australia who identify with Greek ancestry. Melbourne has about 200,000 not 400,000! Apart from Sydney the other capital cities Perth, Brisbane and Adelaide each having around 50,000.
@DaemonDiomedes Was there in 2017. Sicily has some of the best preserved Ancient Greek temples but also in Southern Italy, Poseidonia. Magna Grecia was a cultural and historical inspiration!
@Matta1927 The best preserved ancient Hellenic temples are in Sicily although we are about to see the southern Italian Hellenic civilisation and will compare.
@lenaargiri Completely agree #lenaargiri but Greece hardly ever uses the leverage it can and should apply. And it’s not only its geographic position but also the large and economically important private Greek merchant shipping fleet.
